Apologies to all who haven`t recieved birthday blocks from me yet.You all sent me amazing blocks on my birthday.You deserve an explanation why yours are late.We`ve had serious illness in our family this summer.It has been kaotic.I promised Vickie I`d get caught up by Sept.1 then I came down with a sinus infection.I am working on your blocks and will get them sent out by the Monday or Tuesday next week.Again I am so sorry for my tardiness.

I sent you an email reply already, but just wanted to say thank you for letting us know. I hope that you are feeling better, and that the illnesses in your family have been resolved! That is always such a stressful time. I think we all understand that things come up in our lives that are out of our control and certainly take priority over hobbies . . . It was good to hear from you :) I will be glad to receive mine whenever you have time to finish it, and again, thank you for letting us know. I hope all is well!

Dear Quilting Friends,
I too have had illness in my family. It has been a real struggle since January, but it really caught up with me in May. That is when I started getting behind on my blocks. I did not have any energy left over for the good things. This weekend, I focused upon getting completely caught up, so several of you will be receiving packages next week. I am grateful for the emails I received from three of you last week. That is all it took to nudge me back on track. I had forgotten that quilting is good therapy! I promise to be better, and I apologize for my late blocks. I tried to make the packages extra special to make up for my tardiness.

It's so good to see you back - we have been concerned since we didn't see you on there - because we knew that not seeing you on the forum or hearing from you regarding was just not you..so we have been anxious - the important thing is that you are ok - and it is so nice to see you back.....and I hope that things are getting better for you now..sending big hugs your way..
