Met Nita today

DH and I met her and Mike at a local restaurant for a glass of tea.Had a great visit.Nita is a sweetie and Mike is too.I know DH and I enjoyed it and hope they did too.

They left here around 7 I think it was and headed to Odessa to spend the night.We sat in the restaurant for 3 hours just drinking a glass of tea and talking.LOL Guess they will be heading home in the morning.

Kat, I agree 100%, Susan is a very giving soul. It was a 2 1/2 hour ride up there but well worth it. Seeing her garden was such a treat. I saw stuff there both and plant and artwork that I'll probably not see again. I'm sorry I didn't photograph her nor David as this was the first time we met and I don't like to be too pushy..........some people hate having their photos taken. We will be visiting again for sure, soon as we have to get some of those fancy walkway stones! aroid, I will let Susan know you want info on the stones, I'm sure she'll be glad to share her method with you.

If you want to compare prices, you can just ask Atlantic Blue for a quote. There are also other water treatment companies available. Realize also, this is a down economy. There is significant wiggle room in their quotes, particularly if you have a quote from an online source plus a quote from a local plumber for install. For future reference, since all of your posts have been about the same issue, if you keep them in the same thread instead of starting a new one every time, we will have all of the relevant information in one place. I don't personally believe Kinetico is worth the extra expense. I'm not knocking them - they have a quality product. But, if you buy Kinetico you are tied to Kinetico for parts and service. The rep you found annoying? -- He's your guy. If you buy a quality, industry standard softener with a Fleck or Clack valve, parts and service are readily available from numerous different companies.

I'm back from inpatient. More tired than last time, but no biggie! Thank you all, you are all too kind! lol Nita and Mike did make it to the hospital, that was nice. I was a little cranky with some confusiona and frustration, but I got it all figured out. sorry they had to see me like that! lol susan, thank you, I'll go check it out! Lillie, Mike and I had a great time visiting with you and your husband.

We made it to Odessa, checked into the hotel and then went to Red Lobster for dinner.

Poor Mike was so tired, he crashed on the bed and was out like a light. I am going to let him sleep another hour. We have a long day today (almost 600 miles). Maybe he will let me do some driving today. lol He just loves driving his new truck and I am happy for him.

Thanks again for meeting up with us, it was fun. Hopefully we will be through this way again and can visit again.

I guess you are on the road or probably home by now!LOL I knew Mike was tired.It really tires Darrell out to drive.I feel guilty sometimes because he has to do all the driving.Glad he got some rest.
Man,we should have followed you to Odessa! I have been wanting Red Lobster.LOL We came home and Darrell took a little nap,then about 8 we both asked one another at the same time,"Are you hungry?" LOL So we went back to Herman's and ate.I had the Fajita special.It was good but Red Lobster would have been better! We really enjoyed the visit and definitely want to do it again.We need to seriously plan on the Balloon Festival.
