Anyhow, for Knockout, I'd rather see that growing than a rose that's defoliated from blackspot or no rose at all. And I'd prefer no rose at all to one that required weekly spraying to stay healthy. The Blush Knockout is quite a beautiful plant on its own. Not sure why it would be such a horror if it were to develop a climbing sport. Especially for people who don't have a lot of extra time to spend in the garden, those roses are wonderful. I've got plenty of roses, but I've also got Ramblin Red climbing up the back fence and I'm happy every time I look back there and see it.

I call them life support until the temp gets better. Yes, I try to name and date all my plants and when they were last repotted. It keeps things more organized and neat that way.
