It has been on for 40 minutes here......long to wait to see who won or came in second.

I don't know. I thought I missed it. They said the runner up gets $100,000 but I didn't hear them say if the other two got any votes at all. I didn't see the rest of the votes read.

Did they show a clip of the jurors holding up their votes to show who they voted for?

The reunion was the best one yet, since they didn't try to cram everyone into it. Loved the final tribal council/vote/questions from the jury.

I'll wait 'til tomorrow to talk about anything I noticed.

The folks who came in second and third didn't get any votes at all. The winner was unanimous. Jeff Probst even said during the reunion show that the person who came in second didn't get any votes, so I don't know how they determined that the person came in second.

And the one who is pregnant and ready to give birth any minute -- when did she get pregnant? They haven't been back for nine months (have they?), so she must have been pregnant while on the show....

So No ONE gets the $100,000? I could not believe it when I saw Brenda. How long ago was this filmed? She was as skinny as a rail, and she's ready to give birth??? I was sorry she lost the favorite vote by 1%. The maybe second place person looked remarkably worse than she did on the island. I don't like her.

Filming ended June 2012, so Brenda had plenty of time to get pregnant. I highly doubt they would let anyone film while pregnant, it is just too risky. The fact that they took Eric out just for being weak should prove that. His vital signs looked fine to me, perfectly in line with a healthy young person. He was just dehydrated, in my opinion. Especially since he was back at the tribal council the next night. I wish they would have given him a couple liters of fluid and let him back in the game, what a way to go!

I am glad Cochran won, and don't think I've ever seen a unanimous vote. I recall seeing one vote for another in other seasons, but never unanimous. I might be wrong on that one. I love the notion of Cochran being a sex symbol! You can contact him on twitter.

What a great week for reality shows! First the Hockey Brothers won on Amazing Race, then Cochran on Survivor. And Malcom winning the $100,000!

I, too, am glad they didn't have every contestant on the Finale Show. I just wish Jeff spoke to each one, rather than interview Rudy, Boston Rob, and that young girl.

With a tie for 2nd place, I think they both get $100,000. Unless they use the number of times your name was written down at a tribal council to determine placement?

I think they left the other people off the stage so it wouldn't be so obvious that Brandon wasn't there- apparently his lunatic uncle made some threats against Phillip and they were all banned from appearing. Good. Brandon would have sucked the life out of the show.

As much as I like Rudy, I think he had too much time and was having too much fun with the word queer. Is Hatch still in prison? Why do they keep showering him with attention after all these years? And wasting time on Rob and that little tongue-tied girl, that was silly.

I was happy enough that Cochran won, since Eric or Eddie couldn't. I am sure that Brenda will get a lot of flack for prodding Dawn to own up to the fact that she lied to Brenda about dropping out of the game when she lost her teeth. I didn't think Dawn would take out her bridge when challenged to, but I guess she proved that she WILL do anything for a million dollars, or a chance at it. I think it was probably very hard for Brenda to stand up and speak to Dawn without crying, she was obviously so hurt by it all.

I was laughing at the final tribal when Dawn and Cochran "broke up" and started talking over each other and doing some damage control.

Most of the people looked great last night. Brenda and Andrea and Sherri were lovely. Malcolm needs to cut his hair, he couldn't stop petting himself, it was funny and would have made a good drinking game. And his acting was so lame, he's not actor material IMO. I didn't think Dawn looked all that great either. And Phillip's hat and glasses were just weird, he reminded me of Elton John. lol

Having to wait 9+ months to find out who won or lost, that seems like a horribly long time to keep a secret and to wait for the results if you're in the final 3.

I didn't like the final tribal, at all. Lots of wasted time. Do we care that Rudy likes the word "queer"? Having Hatch do that little -whatever it was. And the little girl? Huh? Boston Rob needs a humility check. CBS/Survivor, obviously loves him.
I don't like, that all the players weren't there. Isn't that the first time for that? Hantz not being there, would have been in keeping with his problems.
I thought the most deserving person won. Don't always think that.

the teeth thing was aweful...and as for the other woman..why be on a show if you have "several business" to run??? omg...

I was so happy with the results, he was deserving....I'm sure he'll go far with his "gift of gab" and smarts.....And I also love that he's a "sex symbol"...
I don't know why Sherry was even there, she did nothing and she sure did have a mouth on her in the end....And Dawn, looked like she put on weight and was glad to see she didn't cry.....As far as Brenda, I was surprised, wonder if she's married....
I didn't like the part with Rudy and his language, the little girl and Boston Rob...I think Richard Hatch has been released and I honestly think that was all a set up...I kind of liked him in his strange ways, lol.....

Anyone have an ideas as to where they will be next?

Now to wait until fall, what am I gonna watch on TV?????

My thought on why the others were not there for the finale was because of $$$~~to fly them all out and hotel them out JMHO.

I never like it when they bing back oldies to talk to, and try to make it all folksy.

Sherry was there because Cochran said he thought she may only get one vote. I did not mind the teeth part Brenda just wanted dawn to know how it felt to be hurt by someone you thought was your friend.

What I did not like at the last tribal and the finale was stupid Dawn holding Cochrans hand and petting him all the time, at one point she had her hand resting on his knee~~~seemed creepy and way to personal;(

I was glad Cochran won. I don't like the time given to the audience people. I'd rather all the players there as they used to be ,and Jeff asking them all questions. Brandon shouldn't have been, because he's a lunatic and it's a live show.

I still can't get over skinny Brenda about to give birth. So if it's nine months since it occurred, are they already doing the next one as we speak?

Do NOT like Dawn and am glad she got nasty tweets because what she did was unconscionable after what Brenda did for her all thru the show. I thought everyone looked nice , but thought Dawn looked awful. She looked much better making the show. As for Sherrie, she WAS a seashell. Never has someone who contributed so little gone so far.

I am more that delighted that Cochran won! He truly blossomed on this show, winning so many challenges and really becoming a true Survivor. This has really done a lot for that young man, he as he said was so socially challenged and now he is just amazing. I could listen to him talk for hours, he has such a great way with words. I think if he does decide to write he will be an amazing writer. I think he looked very sexy last night! I bet he does get some dates and love the comments he made about meet me on twitter I will show you how sexy I can be LOL. He was so truthful in his answers and really tried not to hurt anyone, I loved that even though he was so sick of Dawn he wanted to strangle her he was still able to be her "therapist in the jungle".

I don't know why they continue to drag out Richard Hatch please let it die we really did not need to see any PART of him yet again. Nor Rudy nor Rob! Now Rob has used this as a chance to rake in more money for the book he quickly threw together so he could use the finale as a selling platform for it. Even Jeff didn't know about it very sneaky Rob!

The promos for the next show Blood VS Water made me think omg it will be all family members, which would of course mean the Hantz family???? Lets hope not!
And yes, the next season will take place in the Philippines yet again, Cagayan,Philippines. Favorites vs.Family??

I agree, this looks stupid. I don't want to see any of them back again. Where's the "water" part?.. I agree Sherri was rude to Eric. And who brags she's a business woman with all the employees? Botox , my foot. More like big facelift AND boob job. Seashell.

My boy Cochran pulled it out. I said I wanted him to win from the first episode. Cochran was the least likely to succeed and yet he did. Dawn was so irritating. Sherri was truly a "keep her around for her vote" person. She can't possibly believe she actually deserved to be there. I wish Brenda would have won the money. I would much rather see 3 deserving people in the final than drag alongs that don't deserve it at all.

I would love to see a Survivor with all the contestants equal in age and ability. Have all strong guys and girls on both teams. Or...vice versa, all not so much. Then it would be fair as far as physical challenges.

Nothing would make me happier as far as Survivor goes to never, ever have to see Boston Rob or hear his voice again. Same with Richard Hatch, gag. I think the entire reunion should be devoted to the present cast.

I am hoping soooo bad that they do NOT bring former survivors back EVER AGAIN. There are thousands and thousands of people who want to compete. Get new people every season. I'm sure they can find big personalities, villians, sweethearts, whackos......

September seems so far away right now....ugh.

Guess I'll watch Longmire and Falling Skies til then!

I really liked the final tribal council. I thought the questions most of the jury asked were well thought out and not just a ranting and raving about the final 3 voting them out. I'm glad Conchran won if Brenda couldn't. They usually hand out the second prize or at least announce who won but they didn't. I didn't hear them say anything about the second prize. I thought at least Malcom would vote for Dawn. She did really try to own up to her "do anything to win" attitude after he told her to own it. I didn't see them show who voted for who.

Corrine was there in the audience, remember Dawn mentioning her. I thought it was strange that the entire cast wasn't there. Eric got NO TV time last night with the results show and neither did Michael. Of course, he was the first to go to the jury, unlike Eric. I thought they would have at least talked to him about his health.
Overall, it was a good ending. The right person won this year.

I figured out that next season would be related people. does this mean that they will be playing against their relative and that no one related will be on the same team to begin with.
Wish they would bring in new people as well.

I read all of Erik's comments~~I did not know the other players were there, but in the audience~~so I revise my reason why they were not on stage. It was because Jeff was talking to all of the oldies and the little girl;( Sad when they change the format~~~~

The interviews with Dawn and Erik in the link I posted are interesting. Dawn isn't sure yet, but like most cash prizes, the 2nd and 3rd place prizes are added together and split 50/50. Cochran was the unanimous winner, no other votes.

Lily, Jeff said his bags were packed and he was flying out to start the next season "tomorrow". In Malcolm's interview he said he had a week off between seasons.

When they showed Corinne in the audience she was seated with most of other cast members that didn't make the jury. At least I thought that was what I saw.

I thought the live reunion was the most boring thing, dealing with Rudy, BR, the little girl and I almost turned it off.
