WoW...Hard to Believe...

It's not just Ray Manzarek of the Doors but Alvin Lee of Ten Years After; Richie Havens and Alan O'Day have all passed. Alvin and Richie were at Woodstock and Alan sang "Undercover Angel".

Guess what shocks me is that I corresponded with them when I was on radio. Makes my memories and autographs even more precious.

RIP guys!

I have not posted here prior to tonight. I have watched several hours of coverage now on the Classic TV channel on The Doors. It breaks my heart we are losing the great talents of our generation in real age as opposed to drugs and early departures as the case was with Jim Morrison, etc.

There isn't a person alive that hasn't heard the keyboard work on Light My Fire. I don't care how old or young.

I saw a quote recently that pretty much makes it for me: "It only takes one song to bring back a thousand memories."

Just wanted to share the loss.
