Has anyone used DeWills cabinets

I am going to order Dewills cabinets for my kitchen and i was wondering if anyone has used them and what you think of them.

I have not heard of them before, where did you find them? Take a look at buycabinets.com if you have not ordered. I got mine there and saved a bunch. If you talk to Jason and mention code LMSB you can save another $100. I got cherry Thomasville(sold under name Somersby) cabinets from them I am so happy with cabinets and price. Good luck

I know cloud swift has De Wils and has nothing but good things to say about them. If you do a search, a few threads should come up with pictures and comments.

My daughter used the IKEA Bodarp green kitchen units for her new open plan kitchen extension and sourced some wooden terrazzo worktops, ply handles and oak slats panels to go round the peninsular. Looked amazing when completed. Here are some photos taken during the completion of it.

After everything is installed, sample EG and other colors if that doesn't look right to you. There is a lot of variety in stones and we don't know what your slab looks like, so no one can really tell you what will work. It also depends on what direction the light is coming from. You don't have to paint until everything else is installed. I have EG in my MB which has light coming from the north and west. As mojavemaria says, it looks gray or beige depending on the light, so it might work for you - definitely worth sampling. If anything I would say it leans more beige than gray, despite the name of the color.

Waypoint is a builder grade line with limited colors and styles. Fabuwood is a RTA import stock line with even more limitations and no good warranty. Not recommended.

Yes, I have DeWils cabinets. Ours are natural cherry in their frameless line (IIRC they call that Horizons). There was a choice of metal drawers or dovetail wood drawers. We got the wood ones. They did a great job!

The cabinets all arrived when they were suppose to, packed very well so their condition on arrival was lovely. The order was entirely correct except for one mistake our GC had made in the order and one mistake that was ours. Fortunately, both mistakes only required ordering replacement doors and a drawer front. The replacements arrived within a couple of weeks of ordering them - very prompt.

My husband is an amateur woodworker and pretty picky about construction details - he had no complaints. The cabinet construction was quite sturdy - the cabinets didn't rack even when leaning against an individual cabinet before installation. I can see why our GC likes them because that made installation easier. The boxes are plywood of a very good quality (there are lots of grades of plywood).

We are very happy with the quality of the finish (another area where my DH can be picky) and we love the grain.

It's been a while since I've had occasion to post a picture of the cabinets before installation, as cheril says, many threads with pictures of the installed cabinets will come up if you do a search on my name:

Mostly we used their standard cabinet box sizes, but our over fridge and oven cabinets were custom height. We customized most of the drawer heights to get exactly the storage we wanted.

We had our DeWils cabinets installed at the end of Feb. I love the look and the quality seems to be there. Once our flooring is finished (today!) they will be back to put in the wood base and then address some issues including replacing a door and drawer front that missed their quality control. We got the Expressions furniture style inset cabinetry for the kitchen and the Designer face framed cabinets for 3 bath vanities, all in a medium cherry.

This may be a bit late but I'm new to GW... We just had our DeWills cabinets installed and we have nothing but good things to say... They are really well made and our contractor has worked with them for years so he has all kinds of trust in dealing with them...

Couple of doors came in that our contractor found problematic (I couldn't even see what he was talking about)and he shipped them back for replacemenets... DeWills seems really cool about making sure customers are happy...

I'm placing my order for deWils cabinets next week. My contractor has worked with them before and has had good luck and the quality looks very good compared to the other brands I considered (Brookhaven and DuraSupreme).

MakeitSew, what is the finish color on your cabinets in the kitchen? Is it 111, or 117? (my cabinet shop is using only numbers, not color names, but yours looks exactly like i want mine to look)
