source for decorative garden edging?
Comments (16)It seems as if you are not interested in making them yourself which would drastically reduce the cost. However, you could always get someone like a student to do this for you. There is tons of info on here about what you need to do the job. If you don't know you can ask and anyone will help you. You could buy the moulds and materials and supervise the work. That way you could get what you want and the student (or other) would benefit from getting paid and learning a good skill. I agree that there aren't always times when it is convenient to do it yourself and you may not want to do it, just like I don't want to do everything. Some things appeal to me and others really don't. I hire certain people to do things and I don't feel guilty at all. It would still give you some satisfaction though of having done your own thing. Just be sure to allow a little time for a learning curve if you are both new to it. It could be a rewarding experience for both of you. Try some of your local discussion forums. I am not familiar with your area but as I am from a small fishing village in Canada but I imagine your city probably has every concievable teaching institute available. Contact them, maybe someone would do it for credit or experience in a certain course. You never know, it could open up a whole new world to you. Cheers from the "Wet Coast of Canada, Vancouver Island"...See MoreSources of elegant tabletop decor
Comments (4)Bonnieann - thanks for the suggestions! Your continual linen and tabletop quest made me smile. I lived in Dallas for a year where the Horchow outlet is located. They have two enormous bins of markdowns (on merchandise that is already marked down) at times 75% off. We've lived in New York state now for three years and my husband just shakes his head in disbelief at what we acquired in a year in Dallas. He said to me the other day "just think how much linen we'd have if we still lived near Horchow! We'd have to buy another house just to store it in!) Hehehe..... It is a fun addiction and Upstate New York is full of thrift stores with fairly decent things --lots of silverplate to fill in here and round out the bowl and candlestick collection there, etc.... Linda --I just left you a personal message but maybe I should have left it here. CR has a new "blue/white Christmas" theme featured this year (again!) and the new one features those goblets, wine glasses, or whatever - this time in blue. She has many sets of them, I think. Anyway, for you or anyone else here who likes to see pretty table/entertaining/home decor, her site's not as prolific as it used to be, but still worth a check once in awhile. Stunningly beautiful!...See MoreAny good photo sites for inspirational Christmas decorating?

Comments (9)I'm sorry. It is destined to become landfill. Or junk in the basement. There is a ton of great artwork online. I spy a "matching" glass in the bag. Great design need not be expensive, a little glitz and glam goes a very long way : ) Put some wonderful art on the wall..........glam up the table? You might thank me in a couple years,...See Morerosesstink
