I am heading off to bed, but I did watch the show just now. I enjoyed it. The striking scene was, of course, of the mother who had lost her son determining to sit vigil for the lone survivor, a little girl, till her family came. I find it believeable for one family to do such a kind and caring act, but I found it too scriptish that several families would stay, and that their "secret" did not come out from personnel coming in and saying something or the press.

Derek's going off without Meredith to camp at the house site seemed silly on his part to me. And Meredith seemed like a good mommy already.

It will be interesting how they use April, the new chief resident.

One of my favorite characters is Bailey, and I was impressed with the steps she took to protect her son. My other favorite is Christina, and she was true to form tonight.

Loved the show! Glad Teddy went back and kissed her "husband". Was surprised at the girl who was named chief of staff, she's a little young for that. Good show!

Glad you discussed it here. I watched last night but obviously fell asleep during the show re-watched it this morning fast forwarding through those parts I remembered. Tear jerker, tear jerker, tear jerker!

I think Derek is being an A$$. I know what she did was very wrong and should never ever be done but after watching her mother go through that and knowing what Adelle was headed for, she did it for a very real reason, it was very touching.
Him leaving her at that point when HE was the one that pushed the baby on her, that was just wrong.
I want to slap Christina sometimes, does she ever think of anyone but Christina...

I liked this episode very much. I only started watching the show after someone gave me DVDs of the early episodes and I got sort of addicted to it. Looks like there will be some interesting story lines next season.

I too like Christina. She always been a favorite.
