Hey Kevin, We have a few resorts here in Va. Wintergreen is about 3 hrs away in the mountains near Crozet Va..(Charlottesville) The skiig/snowboarding is fun for Va...My son like to go to Snoeshoe WV..it's about a 2hour drive from his College (Va Tech) But my favorite on the east coast is Seven Springs PA...great place for all snow lovers...great for families... and has alot to offer...My favorite place out west is Whistler/Blackcomb!!! Talk about heaven!!! LOL !!! We usually see temps during the winter down to the low 20's and average temps around 40-50...We always say wait until tomorrow around here because the temps change and we can have snow flurries one day then 60 degress the next!!! Chris, I would be interested in any tomato seeds that you may have extra of. My hubby and I were just talking about what to put in the veggie garden last night. My family likes canteloupe, watermelon, tomatoes, cumcumbers, and green beans. Would be interested in anything unusual, fun for the kids! But if you've got everything ready for Patty, or have it mailed, please don't worry about me!! I wasn't able to send to everyone either. I really wanted to though!! Linoleum flooring was very popular from 1863 to 1974. It was used historically as an original floor treatment in some GSA buildings. Linoleum's chief ingredient was linseed oil, pressed from flax seed, which became a tough, elastic material when exposed to air. The process essentially consisted of mixing linseed oil and gum with ground cork or wood flour, and pressing it onto burlap or canvas. It was then glued down to concrete or wood floors using a mastic cement. See "General Project Guidelines" for general project guidelines to be used along with this procedureThese guidelines cover the following sections: Historic Structures Precautions Submittals Quality Assurance Delivery, Storage and Handling Project/Site Conditions Sequencing and Scheduling General Protection (Surface and Surrounding) These guidelines should be reviewed prior to performing this procedure and should be followed along with recommendations from the Regional Historic Preservation Officer (RHPO). TC: they aren't trying to cheat you as the guys said. When I lived in Seattle, rates were so low that I had to call them since my first 2-month bill was $12. I thought it was a connection fee, but it wasn't. Now, your rates are slightly higher than mine are here in the East. When gas was more expensive a few years ago, the cost difference would have meant more than now. But your gas rates have probably gone down as the electric rates went up (still paying off those 5 nukes that never got built?). The Seattle area has such a mild climate (for being that far north) that heat pumps work just fine. So its not a surprise that they get recommended now that they are more efficient. (And lets not start a war over the definition of efficiency.) Another consideration perhaps. A heat pump will run year round in your location. An AC unit may only run 2-3 months in Seattle, if that much. Hopefully the AC unit will last longer from non-use. Which also means you don't really have to go with the higher SEER number since you are not going to see any ROI. 14-15 would be fine.
