Do you think something more farmhouse like these would work? I'm worried doing shaker, but not 2 panel like my powder room door will look like I tried to match but couldn't. I wish I could see some pictures of spaces with different types of doors in them but I can't find any! Maybe that means Patricia is right and I should just make them all the same!

Any solid door is more sound transfer resistant than a hollow core door and the additional thickness of a raised panel wood door is offset by the greater density and tighter joints of a flat pane MDF door and its doubtful that a raised panel MDF door is much better than an MDF flat panel door.
