Well...maybe I shouldn't tell you about the baby zebra that we had. LOL Really, he passed away. My son had an autopsy ran on him and they said that it was worms that killed him. Undoubtedly the woman that sold him to my son didn't worm him like she said that she did. It was a big shock to all of us not to mention the $$$$ loss on the animal. He was so pretty, his coat looked like silk. He was just begining to get to where he would get a little close to you but not enough that you could pet him. My son had planned to breed him with a donkey and make some zonkeys. This was Zandy. I made this page with all of the animals at Christmas time in 2004. Here is a link that might be useful: Christmas 2004

posted by betsyhac....And it looks like Sammy's playing with him? How great is that!! Playing, killing, almost the same, lol. Sammy has been working very hard on teaching Louie how to be a Good Kitten. Louie watched him do everything for the first week here, it was so cute. Now Louie seems intent on taking over the world, starting with our house. Look out world, he's on his way!

Thank you! A lot of people think he's a sheepdog but he's actually a Bea rded Collie. Technically, a sheep herding dog so you were close ;-) And he's coming up on 12 weeks. The other day I took some pictures of him when he was wet after a bath and it was hilarious because he shrunk to about half the size with wet hair. I should have about 7 out of 50 pictures from then that I will put up on the same web address later today or tonight. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one with blurry pictures.

I'm always happy to see a rescued animal get a home. One concern though, with the looks of Dox in her, it's usually a bad idea to get them used to sitting up. Their backs often can't take it for very long and seeing a dog with a bad back and the resulting pain is heart-wrenching. A friend's vet told her to stop her Dox from sitting up. She somehow decided it was better begging sitting up! Winston will probably adapt! At least he's (apparently) not attacking the newcomer!
