After having work down on our front and back landscaping here for the last two months- those rocks look pretty cool! What a great MD idea. I asked DH if we could NOT go out to do something and just stay home instead and enjoy our gardens at home instead. We have lots of roses and other plants too in pots we can plant up that weekend. He made me a MD tea party (cooked all the food and set it up himself) one year and we'll do that again as we all enjoyed it so much. we're a tea party family! Here are some pics of our recent landscaping projects on my Picture Trail. The gazebo in our front yard was our Valentine's Day Wedding anniversary gift to each other. I am glad you got some rain, too.A little fell here, too, but not enough to help this hard ground here, but,just got a weather bullentin that severe storms with hail and high winds are on the way.I can do without the hail and wind,but the rain is much needed. I just love that SURF. its gorgeous,and so is VERY BERRY ICE.LOve them Bi Tones.maybe some day I will have a couple/Your blooms looks so pretty with the rain drops on them.Love it. Jean

Tammypie, I've had retusa for a while now. Love it. And cummingiana is on it's way. :) I've developed my own rooting methods over the last few years that seem to work well in my climate. Baggies and aquariums do NOT work well here (I found out the hard way). :( But, live and learn! Mike, aldrichii is one that's been in my collection for over a year. My rooted piece is alive, but just not doing much of anything. Just wanted to add a bit to it from a different location to see if it would acclimate faster.
