You certainly have your priorities in order. This is the best way to spend Mother's day money or even Father's day money for some of you. Those hanging baskets are so pretty, just yummy.

Aren't I Pretty Daylilies - questions?

Fairysoapgirl...I am too lazy to do this for you, but check to see which AHS region you are in...and see where next year's regional will be. It will be a wonderful weekend and you will see gardens filled with wonderful daylilies. Nothing beats seeing daylilies blooming in person! Pinks and Purples are especially hard to buy from a picture, I find...people see them differently and cameras certainly see them differently. There are a number of good sellers I like...I think I approach it (now...with too many daylilies...and, of course, still buying...) from a perspective of what daylily(ies) am I looking for...and then the sellers...which seems to be what you might be doing, since you have a list(s). Did I mention, by the way, that your regional will probably have an auction one night?? You can buy daylilies that are grown in your area...a great way to start things off well...learn about sellers/hybridizers...and, I can't imagine that you won't come home with a plant or two...there might be a bus plant or raffles or even check-in plants depending on how things are done. You'll get to hook up with folks who will give you good scoop about daylilies that do well in your area. Plus, what can be bad about talking daylilies 24/7 for a couple days?? One of these days, I will get to posting about the regional I attended on my blog...I will try to remember to come back here and link to it!

It's dark and I SHOULD have taken pix but I got 5 hosta from Naylor's Creek, (yesterday) and they potted out to 11 individual plants!! How's that for a deal!!! I got 'Fran Godfrey' a newer S&S sport with chartreuse centers and dark green margins; 'Winter Snow', another S&S sport and was inspired by ken's comments on his--still haven't seen a pic of his though, so, I just took his word on it; 'Heat Wave'; 'Robin Hood' and 'One Man's Treasure'!! Trust me--I did GOOOD!!! Msjo--you did GOOOOD, too! You made very good choices!!!! Thanks for letting us see what Denny sends! Now--let me look at my list!!!! :o) Uhh, I better look at our bank account first!! Gulp!! P.S. Gary (Naylor's Creek) said they somehow did not get 'Fran Godfrey' in their catalog this year, so if you think you might want one, they have them!!!

Susan sure knows how to grow em! I call her the Pubicalyx expert! None of my Pubs that have come from others compare to the ones I've received from her. Color and vigor, it's all there <3 That obovata/carnosa is the cutest ever!!!
