If they're going to start enforcing "Do not take from recycling bin" regulations then I hope they start with the people who come down my street every recycling day/evening before and go through to pull out returnables. (I don't really want them arrested-just making a point)However, if you live in San Francisco, watch out-this flyer is dated 2011, so it is current. http://sfsafe.org/system/brochures/TheftofRecycleableMaterials.pdf If you are caught/spoken to, tell them you are going to recycle the container when you're done, so it really just goes back into the same recycling stream, just takes a little while longer to get there. I do think they are looking for the people who are stealing large scale to make a profit themselves, though. Alternatively, go onto freecycle and ask for jugs from your local group, or check with a restaurant (especially breakfast/lunch type) you may know to see if they can give you a batch. I'm sure people would be happy to give you milk jugs, as opposed to the returnable types. I asked for 2 liter bottles on freecycle and only received 12, because in my area you get the 5 cents back for each one. Not too many people willing to give up their 5 cents.

I also have the same problem with FE Series "Double Pink" I didnt bring it up because I didnt want to confuse anyone. I bought the Double pink with a few blooms on it and didnt have an excuse why it wasnt blooming. I went to FE website and noticed the Double Pink is no longer offered and neither is Red Sensation. Their Red Hydrangea is simply called "Red" now. Seems both Red Sensation & Double Pink have been discontinued. I feel like a test dummy...lol...leaves a bad taste in my mouth to ever buy a FE Hydrangea again. I dont want to spend years again waiting for a hydrangea to bloom, just to find out it was a dud. They have months left at best in my yard if they dont produce here soon and my money is on they wont. I have 5 Hydrangeas in pots I winterize already and dont want more in pots. I bought them to be planted in my yard...lol... Thank you for bringing it to my attention that it was a new cultivar and prompted me to check their website. I would never buy a FE Hydrangea unless it was in bloom to prove what it is. Along with checking on the web that others in colder climates have had success with that particular one. I have multiple years success with FE Series: FE Original, Blue Heaven, Peppermint & Together. Summer lace I bought last year and seems to have proven to be worthy also. Rebloomed last year and has put buds on new growth this year also. I see FE has many new exciting Hydrangeas I didnt know they offered now, but I wont be their test dummy again. It's a shame they apparently rushed hydrangeas to market that werent proven and I wont take that chance again.

This was the first time that I've actually kept any of the RH catalogs. Some of them I ditched right away w/o even flipping through them. I kept the Small Spaces catalog because it isn't so dark and I kept the Tableware catalog because of the colors. I may buy some of the table linens. I really liked the Grand Brassiere Entertaining Collection and the Vintage Hotel Silver Collection. I will say that I liked having separate catalogs for Tableware and 'Objects of Curiousity' (Peterman's voice was in my head as I read " These genuine millstone artifacts spent their years grinding corn...." pretentious). Sometimes I just want to see what's available and not have to scan a whole page trying to figure out what accessories are for sale, which ones aren't and then try to find the price somewhere. Never fails I always want what's not for sale Lol!

I have a double trash pullout, the front is used for garbage and the rear is used for recyclables (glass, cans, bottles). Looking at my sink, the trash cabinet is to the left. The dishwasher is to the right. A couple times a week DH dumps the recyclables into a bin in the garage, which he either leaves at the curb on pick-up day (we pay for trash pick up) or he takes it to the transfer station. We are not required to separate the recyclables when we put them at the curb, so we don't need 3+ bins. I love Linda's setup, though.
