Soap dispenser location with D-Shape Sink?
Comments (3)The sink base cabinet is 27" and the sink is 23" wide. My concern is that if the soap dispenser is the only thing on the right side of the sink, it may look lost being so small and all by itself....See MoreFaucet placement Need Help Quickly
Comments (9)Another vote for center so as not to block the windows. As to the soap dispenser, why don't you and the family practice with a regular pump container and see where it suits you best. Some righties want it on the right to pump with their favored hands. Others want it on the left to wash their favored hands first. And vice verse for lefties. But sometimes it depends more on where the faucet is aimed. Is it a single bowl? Multiple? Do you usually have the faucet turned toward the disposer? Is the disposer offset or in the center? Just because the faucet hole is in the center doesn't mean it's always pointed that way, so no matter which handed you are, the best place for the soap might be the side that the faucet usually isn't!...See MoreIn Sink soap DIspenser - Hand or Dish soap?
Comments (25)I understand the concerns about using dish soap if it tends to dry your hands. That hasn't been a probelm for me, but I do have a child with OCD who tends to wash more than necessary, so for a while I switched from the antibacterial dish soap to a dish soap that was not antibacterial. It was gentler on the hands, and kept my child's hands from cracking (and sometimes bleeding) as they had with the antibacterial soap. Since then, I've diverted my child from constant hand washing to using hand sanitizer in between a normal amount of hand washing, which has solved the problem. Now I can use whatever kind of dish soap I want. But if it doesn't bother your hands, dish soap is a perfectly good hand soap. (My grandmother even used dish soap for shampoo, which I do occasionally for a super cleansing of all hair products from my hair, with no discernible harm.)...See MoreSurvey-Hand soap or dish soap in built-in dispenser?
Comments (28)I love my Never MT. We built a new house and put one in each bathroom, where I use hand soap(softsoap) and in the kitchen where I use dish soap. The only problem I've had is that in one bathroom, I had to replace the Never MT...it leaked at the valve. This has happened twice. But it's still worth it. Actually the first one was replaced by the manufacturer after 6 months use....See Morepoohpup
