freezing croissants ??

I thought I read on the penny pinchers thread where someone said they froze croissants. I reread it and can't find it now. Maybe it was another thread. If you are the one who posted it or know anything about freezing them, please clue me in.

Whenever I buy them, I buy a container of 6. No one but me eats them. Most of them usually end up being fed to birds. I have to do that to keep from eating them myself, which I could easily do. I love those things.

Do I need to freeze them individually? Do they need to be wrapped tightly? Do I just bring them to room temperature after freezing or do they need to be put in the oven?

TIA

Linda
