I think we have used every kind of hose reel, hanger, pot, etc. ever produced. And you know what we like the best? We keep a hose at every spigot and neatly coil it flat on the ground behind a bush each time we use it. Neat, handy, and honestly the least effort, in our opinion. The problem with reels is how heavy they get as they fill up, thus making your arms increasingly more tired as you get near the end of the job. By coiling it on the ground there is no weight on your arms. (The battery powered ones run out of power remarkably fast, and who wants to make a special trip inside to hunt for more batteries that you may or may not have?....This of course, tells you a bit about how organized I am about such details.:)

They are still very popular. The most recommended brand is Sterling by Kohler - a material called Vikrell that is very strong - and a snap and lock systems that is leak proof. There are installation videos on Youtube. The problem that you hear about them is that the panels are usually damaged by poor handling in poor warehouse conditions, such as Home Depot. So you need to be prepared to open the box and inspect before taking home. There are several designs to choose from and even a deep soaking tub version. The tubs need to be set in a bed of mortar. A skilled handyman can install them or it is a nice DIY - read the Sterling directions and watch their videos. I have been using Byetta since September 2008...and have lost weight...maybe 50 lbs. The first months were difficult, with the nausea, but carrying that weight was really getting me down. I have back surgery in a week or so, so I am doubly glad that I stayed with it and am going into the surgery minus those pounds. I have always had lows...rarely high-highs, and fasting and anesthia are troubling but will talk to the anestheist today.Cholestrol is also not an easy fix but a work in progress. From most of the meds I suffer side effects...trying oatmeal as of today. I took Avandia for 10 years, suffering a multitude of side effects...and gaining 10 lbs+ a year...so I am grateful for the newer fixes...like Byetta. I have not heard of the serious side effects...but will check it out. Nanny

I use it too. I think it's made a difference in how much black spot I see. They seem to be stronger and less susceptible.
