Did it change? Did any negatives go away?

I just looked at mine and my feedback score went up by 11 (from 1067 to 1078 - don't know why) and I lost the old negative I had from a buyer who didn't pay (who has since been NARUed).

I am back up to 100%. Woohoo!

(If you read about my last negative last week from another buyer who didn't pay ... we did the mutual agreement where we withdrew each other's negative feedback. It was hurting me a lot more than her since she already had 7 negatives ... she still got her strike though for non-payment. I don't think they are going to allow mutual feedback withdrawals anymore ... but I don't know for sure).

I noticed there were more feedback today. I had a 99.9% feedback rating but now it's 100% yeehaa!

I'm certainly not down on all Ebay sellers. I bid on and won some from a lady in Ohio. We communicated back and forth by e-mail. She sent really nice big rhizomes and loads of extras. I actually ordered from her twice. My last order was about the time she was stopping selling for the season. I ordered one Tanya Lynn iris. She sent a bag marked "left over Tanya Lynn". I think there were seven in that bonus bag, in addition to the one I bought. I would certainly buy from her again. I also bought iris from Stoutgardens in Ok. He sent absolutely huge iris, some with three and four big green fans. He sent me two huge bonus iris. He apologized that the Okapi Poppy was small, sent me two, and said if they didn't grow and do well next spring, to contact him. Those "small" Okapi Poppy were about as big as the largest one I got from The-iris-cottage, and these were freshly dug with green fans. The ones I got from iris cottage were kinda dirty, dry, and some just had a hint of green, some had none. So, no, I'm not giving up on Ebay iris sellers, just being more careful from now on, and keeping pictures and all seller information until I see what the blooms look like,thanks to the advice of some of you more experienced iris growers. Hi Sweeby, The "they" you are referring to are the credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax and Transunion,) and they do not own the credit scoring algorithms, a firm named Fair Isaac and Company (FICO) does. FICO has designed different scoring algorithms for the different risk-measurement concerns of various industries. Car financing companies place different importance on certain historical behaviours than insurance companies, and different from mortgage companies. FICO sells access to the selected algorithm as a subscription with a "per incident" charge. These charges are not cheap, and the bureaus can make more profit if they sell the unwitting general public a "MyScore" number instead, which they generate with a roughly estimated formula carefully designed to NOT be too close to match actual FICO (else the FICO "trade secret" attorneys come a'stormin.) Even if you go to MyFICO.com, the consumer sales site for Fair Isaac, the free version is fairly meaningless as a yardstick for actual credit application qualifications... PLUS the actual lending and insuring companies won't do business with a report they didin't directly pull (to prevent the likelihood of credit fraud.) STILL... base knowledge is always good. Howdy all ... coming back to this to update on the LG range I recommended... Two things I'm not entirely thrilled with... 1. The knobs have a tendancy to "melt" on the bottom - the heat coming from the top oven distorts the bottoms of the knobs. Something LG is very aware of and will send out a replacement set without question, but still ... will have to replace them every 3-6 months? Ugh. 2. The oven doors - there is an open vent along the top edge. Within the first month something spilled and it's a not an easy thing to disassemble the door to get in there to clean any "in-between" mishaps. I think our old Maytag double-oven had a similar issue, but because the windows were more opaque, it wasn't an eyesore that required immediate disassembly & cleaning. What I'm more than a little peeved about ... not LG's fault ... my husband was DEAD SET against an induction top. No way, no how, had to be gas, period. He's not exactly the cleanest cook - lots of grease spatters (but the results are SOOO worth it!)... now he's constantly griping about how difficult it is to clean. "Maybe I should have looked at induction, I mean, all of the pots & pans we have are compatible..." DOH!!!!

Pooh Bear: I see that you have found who the shipper was. You needed that information to use the tracking number. In this case, it is the US Postal Service. You can follow the progress of your package by logging in occasionally on the shipper's web site. I appears that it has gotten to a main distribution center of USPS. Don;t be surprised if it makes one or two more hops before arriving at your local post office. Also, allow for some time delay after certain actions. The web site may show it shipped when in fact it may still be sitting in the facility. As soon as it is processed, it may be entered into the computer tracking system, but be sitting at the loading station waiting for actually loading onto a truck or plane. Last December, I ordered a watch from Sears that was not in local stock. It took almost a week to get it from Connecticut to Wisconsin. The final legs of that journey was by USPS.

Hmmm...mine is 100% now! I had 1 negative back in 1999! I'm glad to see it's gone!

DH said ours went up too, more than what he has bought and sold, so I guess it's happening to others too. Strange.

They are giving feedback points to you for repetive buyers retro to 1996. My feedback went up from 1003 to 1295 points. Still at 100%. There is something about taking negative feedback away that was past a year ago. There is an explanation on the Ebay boards.

DS says there is something new they are only considering the last 12 months now for that score.

Thanks Williamsburgjane! I had read that and had forgot about it. Makes sense now.

Minnie, your DS is right. Only the past 12 months count as your percentage score.

But... any old feedback from NARUed eBayers is also going away.

You can check your own feedback by going to the link below. You will still be able to read the comments left, but the negatives and neutrals left by NARUed members should be gone.

This is great! My stupid neg went away, buyer was NARU'd a long time ago, and I jumped from 188 to 198, from 99.5% to 100% positive! YAY. That one negative really upset me, it was so undeserved, he lied and lied and wouldn't pay and I got the negative? Made no sense and it was simply sour grapes.

Thanks for the heads-up, Lyd! I'm happy for all of us!

Mine jumped 90 points from repeat sellers. I'm so glad they're finally allowing credit for purchases from the same seller. Whooo Hoooo!

Lydia - Thanks for the info. I had myself convinced that my feedback score had not really changed, but that I was suffering a major brain cramp. Whew....

DS advises not to just delete last email from Ebay but read it it explains what is going on He noticed that now sellers cannot leave feedback. I don't know anything about Ebay but just passing on the info He also said there is a button on your own Ebay site that you can click to look at your feedback etc

Sellers cannot leave any feedback except Positive (no more negatives or neutrals), although buyers can leave positive, negative or neutrals.

Yes, you can see your own feedback at eBay, but the site that I posted above will let you look just at the negatives and neutrals that you have left plus the ones left for you. It makes it a lot easier if you have a lot of feedback and don't want to go through pages and pages to find those negatives.
