Have you tried the new Triscuit crackers series?

I saw the new series at Kroger the other day and decided to try some. I got the brown rice baked with sweet potatoes and roasted sweet onions. I wasn't very hopeful but I was very surprised. I really like them. I don't eat crackers often and prefer a whole grains version when I do, which these are . These were excellent.
They have several flavors including red beans, tomatoes and basil and more all with brown rice . I have only tried the one with sweet potatoes.
I am only commenting on my personal feelings and not on the nutritional values. It is strictly taste based, I would try them again and would like to try the other flavors. Anyone else tried any?

I agree with your assessment! Much better than the "original" ones. I would buy them again.

I'm not sure if this is one of the newest flavors, but there's one with dill, and it was yucky. I threw the box out. I haven't seen brown rice varieties yet (trying to stay out of the crackers and cookies aisle!).

I like the olive oil and cracked pepper ones, tho.

You might never want to use your IE again after downloading Firefox:-) Something to keep in mind though is that some web pages won't work right in Firefox. Depends on what kind of possible script/HTML the page is running. Occasionally I have trouble accessing or navigating a secure site using Firefox and I will just use IE temporarily. I empathize with your concern and frustration justme4know! If you chose to keep track of login and form fill history during installation and still have the LastPass extension installed, log back into it, open your LastPass vault, then click on the down arrow at the very top of your vault between the LastPass icon and your email address. Select History. Do you see any logins from strange IP addresses or any logins at strange times? Irrespective of the above results, I have no good news for you. The entries in question were absolutely generated using your login credentials, and those credentials are compromised. My opinion is based on the extensive scrutiny LastPass receives from independent security researchers and third party auditors. The LastPass code that controls hashing and encryption in the non-binary extensions has been viewable and testable by the public for the past 5 years. I'm certainly not saying that LastPass is 100% bullet proof and will remain so forever. I am saying that the most plausible explanation at this point is that someone has obtained your login credentials. I would strongly recommend using Better Half's computer to change all your passwords in the quickest time frame possible. You must use an extremely strong LastPass master password. I can point you to quality random string and random word generators if you wish. Please be sure to delete all vault entries that are not yours. If you notice any strange entries appearing after making these changes, you'll want to consider the possibly that your computer has been compromised. Locate a computer security expert(s) you trust and ask for advice on how to proceed.

I have had front loaders for about 13 years now, and as soon as my new house is completed in a couple of months I am going back to a top loader. If I can purchase a satisfactory "modern" top loader...great. otherwise I will look for an older used one in good shape. My Duets will go in the barn for quilts or throw rugs until they finally die. I have hard water and use minimal detergent. While the Duets are nice for washing large blankets and quilts, I feel they do a lousy job rinsing things like towels. There just isn't enough water to do the job. Towels soak up the minimal water, and there just isn't enough to do a good rinse job. At first glance when using a heavy duty or sanitary wash cycle the laundry appears to be well rinsed. However, if they are re-washed with no detergent on a bulky items cycle, which fills the washer with more water, there are tons of suds left in the drain/rubber boot area. Sometimes it takes another bulky item cycle to get all the suds out. It doesn't matter what He detergent it is, and scaling down the amount lower than the lowest stated useage amount makes for dingy towels. I was also getting itchy skin from my jeans, so I put those through extra cycles with no soap as well. No more itchy skin. I use unscented detergents such as Ecos and Seventh Generation because Tide and such would just tear me up, and was absolutely horrible rinsing out. I am all for water conservation, but having to run multiple cycles in no way saves money or resources. In my opinion, these washers do not use enough water and the government has no business dictating what water levels my dishwasher and washing machine use, or what lightbulbs I purchase for that matter. Consumers have the ability to control the quality and conservation issues with how they spend their dollars, and I already have a mother and father. I'm going to look into tweaking the water levels.

Okay, I've seen the High Line in a children's book, and do get the part about TJ's being far. The rest could have as easily been about Kamchatka, given how much I know about New York. :) TJ's has things that come and go, so if you're making a special trip, it might be worth calling ahead. I do the same with kale, in the low oven, but I cut out the heavy stems. Can't do it with kale sprouts, so did the hotter. They were probably too hot, but they got nice and crunchy. :) Your toasted garnish sound great! I was thinking more of the little shreds of veg that you're supposed to eat with the meat, which they also call garnish, but so much better yet to make the decorative bits into a snack! I think plenty of people in New York, at least among the people I know, are more like you with the less amount of meat. It's the chefs who don't get it! Or maybe not even the chefs there, but the ones who come here from there--maybe their fare wasn't what the New Yorkers wanted anyway. Or maybe an Eastern thrift thing of if you're paying $$$ or more, it should be for something with Calories. :) The French and German chefs seem to have at least a good acquaintance with vegetables. The Italians--the fine dining chefs here here--use them in the cooking, but it seems if you want one to actually bite into, it's in a salad, and the Brits promise all kinds of delightful veg, but it's really just a smear of puree meant to be eaten with the meat (high class substitute for ketchup) with a few micro greens and three twigs for color on top. The other fun thing that TJ's had this last year was "heirloom red spinach". I love that they're getting in these oddities, half cleaned and ready to use. :) I admire your vegetable garden. I have herbs and peppers, but I'm not a great gardener, and am not ready to commit to vegetables. Are there any you're planting now for the Spring?

I got the Brown Rice w Salt & cracked Pepper last week. I tried them last weekend and thought they were pretty good, my DH did also, but I missed the texture of the plain (I get the low-fat version). I LOVE the plain wheat w dips, thou it is probably only a handful of times I have crackers during the year. I am interested in using new products made that allow you to avoid wheat. I am not intolerant of wheat just want to limit my intake of it. I got a rice flour pasta few weeks ago I haven't had time to try yet. I did see the sweet potato version and will get that for this weekend for my DH, he eats anything w sweet potatoes. It's a nice change ~ liz

Thanks for your assessment, I was wondering!

So does anyone know why the rice route? It's not replacing the wheat, right? It's not like they're trying to be gluten free.

They're trying to capitalize on the healthier foods market. I'm not sure that these crackers qualify, but they sure sound tasty!

I like the original version, too....especially the low fat version as Liz does. I know that I will try one of these new flavors one of these days.

I'll try them. They sound good. I had the olive oil/ cracked pepper ones which I liked.

I love the baby bell cheese especially the original red one, and the white lite, and it goes really good with the Triscuit.

I don't eat crackers often so these I use with the cheese as one of my mid day snacks or my before bed snack, I have not had any problems at all with them upping my numbers but I don't sit and eat a whole box either LOL
Moderation is the mantra!

I do like that it has less wheat content since it has the brown rice but is still a whole grain product.
