prefer English muffins with strawberry jam, a
Spanish omelette and French toast. All with Earl
Grey tea and English clotted cream for breakfast.
Besides, that commercial, popping up everytime I
click something, is so annoying. I refuse!!!!

I won't eat them because of this ad, but they are delicious. Between that and the "take a survey" one that comes floating across the page I feel like I weaving left and right with my mouse. And that one ad with the girls being caught off guard dancing...... OH PLEASE!!!!!

At this point I would rather chew on an old boot. However recently I downloaded a plug-in for my broswer (Firefox) that prevents scripts like that one from running automatically when you open a page. Made the Honey Bunches of Oats lady and ad go bye bye which is wonderful. Also made me aware of how many pages are running scripts since I have to give permission now for them to run when I visit a page.

Yes I have but I probably wouldn't eat them any longer if I had to look at an annoying pop up add about them. I just don't have the patience for pop ups anymore. Luckily Firefox is getting rid of them for me.

Sorry you're being annoyed by them. I guess you won't be buying Honey Bunches of Oats anytime soon!

I use Firefox with Adblock, and I've never seen the ad in question.

I thought it was a new rose too LOL. Thankfully, I'm not seeing the annoying adds. I do see an irritating survey every once in a while though. I like granola & skim milk for breakfast with OJ and wheat toast. Hey, I live near Seattle, SUPER strong coffee, made out of freshly ground beans.

Cup of oatmeal and 1/2 cup cream of wheat with a cup of berries on top.Man sized breakfast but now that milk runs about 40 cents for 12oz probably cheaper to get a Dennys grand slam.Haven't had one since they were $2.99,wonder what the killer is now?

I'm eating them right now with a cup of Yoplait instead of milk. I use Firefox with ad-block and no-script so I've never seen any ads or surveys on GW. Never have to run the spy-ware programs either because Firefox won't download any of those sneaky files to your computer.

Just recently on another post there was a discussion about the annoying ads and pop-ups and the Mozila Firefox. I downloaded this search engine and added the addblocker. I am in heaven, I love making the ads go away! If I can install this then anyone can! I kept my old internet explorer, and use both. I just make sure that I use the Firefox for Gardenweb. For those that are more computer literate there are great ad-ons with this search engine. The only ad that I can't seem to get rid of is the survey. Anyway great title I also thought it was a weird name for a rose.

I'm glad to hear that worked for you. You might never want to use your IE again after downloading Firefox:-) Something to keep in mind though is that some web pages won't work right in Firefox. Depends on what kind of possible script/HTML the page is running. Occasionally I have trouble accessing or navigating a secure site using Firefox and I will just use IE temporarily. Otherwise I have sworn off Internet Explorer entirely and do not miss it.

AOL must do it for me as I've never seen the Honey ad. I will however tell my DH that they come highly recommended by the forumers (he's the cereal eater). The one that drove me nuts for awhile (I think AOL finally caught it) was the Dove chocolate commercial. Just what this little chunky monkey needs to be reminded of.
