Honey Crunch Pecan Pie

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

4 large eggs, lightly beaten

¼ cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup corn syrup

2 Tablespoons butter

½ teaspoon salt

1 pie shell

Combine first seven ingredients and blend with a wisk. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 25 minutes. Cover with foil and bake 10 minutes more.

¼ cup + 3 Tablespoons light brown sugar

¼ cup butter

1/3 cup honey

2 cups chopped pecans

Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add the 2 cups chopped pecans and spoon over baked pie. Bake 10 more minutes.
