I am a fairly early riser but don't appreciate calls that early unless someone is calling to tell me an early morning golf game has been cancelled due to weather. They should have called you the day before.

Oh, yes I am up very early most of the time. Anywhere from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. I don't want to waste my day staying in bed.

He told me when he arrived, they do that so they can start their deliveries when they fill their truck.

I had asked for an afternoon deliver cause I didn't want the early call.

Only time I rise early is to go on a trip.

Early. Always have been.
Generally up at 5:15.

But I love my bed at nite. Not a nite owl at all!
No later than 11, preferably at 10 I like to be in bed.

I used to be but I am getting lazy!! Used to I could be up at 6 on my own and now I could and do sometimes sleep til 7:30!!! Stacy

I had to be an early riser all my working years. I'm retired now so if you want a pleasant voice on the phone, don't call me early!! Even if I'm awake, I don't want to have to 'function' early.

I couldn't even tell you my name before 10. I get up early but I do it on purpose so I can read the papers, do the crosswords and have "me" time. Unless Harry has a VA appointment, I don't even get dressed before 10! Ick--I hate moving around in the morning!!

I wake up @ 4:30am, the alarm goes off at 5:30am, I'm out of bed by 6:30am.

I'm walking out the door to go to work at 6:30am. By then, I've been up for 2 hrs or so. I love 8am deliveries and appts....people aren't usually backed up/late at that hour of the day.

Lights out at 10:30pm on most nights.

For 30yrs. I worked at a job that I had to be at the office at 7am, so I was always up by at least 5:45am. or 6am. After I retired I was still waking up that early, for nearly a year; but now days I sleep until 8:30am. unless the dog gets me up earlier to be let out, then I go back to bed when she comes in. On cold snowy or rainy days I feel like I could sleep all day, but then I'd get nothing done. So....

I have to be to work by 6. I have worked the early shift akll my life and I love it. I always say anyone who sleeps late misses the best time of the day. Even on my days off I am usually up early.

Oh yes, I get up around 4:00am or 4:30am every single morning. I don't work outside the home and truly don't have to get up that early but I can't sleep late! I have tried but just can't do it.

Most mornings I'm up by 5 have my juice and I'm out in the garden till 8. When I worked for someone else I was always in the office by 8 and stayed till everything was done. Now I don't have to be there till 10.

I go to bed at 12:30 am, getting up at 6:10, alarm goes off at 6:15 am (just in case).
On a rare occasion I feel like sleeping in the cats come demanding food at 6:20 :o(
I do have my landline phone set on "night mode" from 10:30 pm
till 6:30 am. Unless someone's hurt or worse people shouldn't be calling in that time anyway.

I am retired and don't get up until 9 or so unless I have to be some place. For far too many years I had to wake up to an alarm clock at 6 a.m. The last couple of jobs I had, I worked 3-11:30 p.m. and got used to sleeping late. My cats wake me up at 5 or 6 a.m. and I feed them in my bathroom and go back to bed and right back to sleep. I only have a cell phone and it stays in my kitchen. It doesn't wake me up. People who call early can leave a message. I am not very polite when someone wakes me up.

I am not an early riser, given a choice. I've been working third shift temporarily (for the last 6 weeks) and am now sleeping from about 8:30 or 9 am until about 2 pm. Wonder what kind of a riser that is!

I can't believe that they couldn't figure out the day before how much stuff would fit in the next day's delivery truck? Yes, it takes a bit more than basic math, but really.

My job starts late in the day, so I try to sleep until 9 unless the puppy wakes me up earlier (but she's pretty good at keeping quiet, unless she hears somebody outside).

Some nitwit thinks it's OK to mow the lawn at 7 a.m. every Thursday, so today will be a very, very bad day for me! I understand that it's better to get it done before the heat of the day sets in, but oh my goodness. It'll be a few more days until I can go knock on a few neighbors' doors to figure out who hired this person and ask if the schedule can be adjusted.

Almost always up by 4 or 5 am. The days I work I have to be there at 6, but get up early everyday. If I should happen to sleep later I feel I have missed most of the morning, LOL!
