LOOKING for: fresh swiss chard?

We have an unexpected bumper crop of Swiss Chard. Cooked, it doesn't appeal to me at all. Is there anything wrong with using it like lettuce in a salad? What dressing would be good?

Also, if you've had success using a cake mix to make pumpkins, carrot, apple, or zucchini cake, please share.
