I planted a new butterfly garden this year, since I moved into a new house. The bed turned out to be much shadier than I expected, but I was glad when the season ended up being so hot and dry. I'm sure I would have lost a lot of my seedlings if they'd had to endure the severe weather before being well established. I haven't seen any Monarchs, but was lucky to get a donation of eggs from NaturesFolly. They are just eclosing now. I did have tons of Red Admirals earlier, and will occasionally see a pair of them chasing around the back yard. I've only seen one Eastern Tiger Swallowtail actually nectaring on a flower in the garden. Hopefully next year will be busier, once the plants are better established and (hopefully) the weather improves. Good luck to everyone! Martha

Do you mean that GardenWeb does not offer you a prompt to log in with? Do you mean that it does do that but it no longer logs you in automatically when you hit the main page? If the second, in firefox, when you choose tools:options:security you should be sure the "remember passwords for sites" box is checked and also that GW isn't in the "exceptions" list found in the same dialog box. If you have an ad blocker tool attached to Firefox, be sure to disable it for "this page only" when you're on your normal GW landing page.

No problems here. Did a setting maybe get changed where it is deleting history and cookies each time you shut your computer off or close your browser? I know some folks seem to have a lot of problems while a lot of us surf trouble free. You might try checking for solutions at the link below. They should be able to get you pop-up free. I use a PC and Firefox, when I just want to log in and do a new post, no problem but whenever I want to update an existing post, I have to back out of the post and go to the main forum page and log in, then go back to the post. And sometimes that doesn't work either but it isn't consistent so it's hard to report it accurately. This also happens in other forums, it's not just this one.
