I have noticed ALOT of members posting pictures from PhotoBucket & then when you click on the thumbnail to enlarge the picture, the picture comes up with a link on the top right to the rest of the pictures in the photo album. How is this avoided????? Dont look! If you dont want too...:) Everyone...you do realize that gives EVERYONE access to every picture in the album and the ability to copy it. I just worry especially if there a family pictures that one may want to keep private... I asked all my family members if it is okay to post their pictures...:) I am a new gardener and am very proud of my accomplishments :) If they want to steal it..I am honored...I might change my mind in a few years we will see..:) Good subject you brought up..:)

I'm an infrequent visitor to this board after my project was mostly completed over a year ago, but I do love lurking and looking at pics of gorgeous homes, etc. Anyway, this was a very interesting read with my morning tea. I had no idea! My sheets are washed weekly (though the exact day may vary). They are washed and immediately go back on the bed (king-size--HATE to fold). I wash the mattress pad when I think of it (it's so thick, it has to go to a laundromat, so it's not often) and the duvet cover gets washed 2x year. Luckily our ancient kitty no longer chooses to sleep with us (the bed it too high up for her--she's 20). My mom (very "old-school"--born 1919) would never have washed any more often and was sometimes known to switch the sheets around from top to bottom. She rarely washed blankets and never (that I know of) washed quilts--she aired them out. All of us kids survived quite healthfully. My MIL was worse about cleanliness (and even I cringe) and none of her children were ever sick or had allergies, etc. I think that keeping things overly clean is a detriment to our immune system. Humans spent many more years barely bathing, etc., and only in the last half-century has regular washing of any kind been less of a chore. Maybe ignorance IS bliss? When I was a kid, I'd never heard of dust mites, so I didn't fear them. Oh, and I laughed about the towel on the bed thing, Sherrmann.....I've been known to grab one too, especially when the sheets are fresh clean! Now if I had a live-in maid? Oh, how lovely to have fresh bedding each night......but it ain't ever gonna happen with me having to do it :-) I bet those of you that change your bedding so often also use clean towels each time you bathe?

Joann: Thank you for the design and all of the example pics. You and your DH are really very talented. Did either or you ever do this work professionally or is it a hobby? Thank you for highlighting all of the architectural details. That is exactly what I need to see. DH and I were debating about this glass as the side panels are quite narrow so your pics are very helpful to visualize the whole effect. I should mention here that this is not a fully custom shop. We basically get to pick different door/cabinet styles, wood species/stain/hardware, height/width, drawers and component configuration so I may not be able to order some of the lovely design details you incorporated, though I will bring in the pics and inquire about it on Sat. I did notice the bottom doors on the console are not full overly which it looks like you designed for the sides. I'm going to guess my top option will not be full overlay so we'll see. Also, my hinges are not the euro style on bottom and stick out the sides. Wouldn't they need to match? As the TV is 50" wide, I was thinking of having the center opening be 51". Then in the vertical direction with the TV height at 31" I was thinking we should add a bit of beathing room--say about 3" extra on top so the TV box would then be 51"W x 34"H. I think I'll check the TV specs to see any ventillation requirements, though I know DH wants some holes in the back for cables, etc. I notice hoosiergirl's TV is very tightly set into the built-in. I'll let you know what they come up with when we go in over the weekend.

Brad: Thanks but the only site I cannot upload a photo directly from my computer photo library to Gardenweb is this site. All plugins are up to date as well as Microsoft updates. It happens if I use either Firefox or IE. I even did a 'restore' to a date before the issue showed up. HitMan Pro is what he used last night along with another scan program but I can't remember which one it was. I also used based on Firefox support recommendation the list below before I contacted Microsoft Technical Support to talk with a live person vs using the Microsoft Community forums. The Microsoft Community response was going through several methods but when I posted back my results from that, I never got another response. I guess they got stumped too. :( I think my computer is so squeaky clean from all the scans. Last night the tech from Microsoft actually takes control of your machine while you watch onscreen and you can chat with them at the same time. I think he did everything he could do to eliminate the obvious issue, ie virus and also ran a trouble report . Tomorrow night I have a call back with a Microsoft Engineer (Support level 2) to see if they can fix the issue. I'll see what they find or if I get pushed up to level 3. My husband says maybe when I get to level 5, Bill Gates will call me ;0.
