Me? Cylon? Fracking Zeus, you may be right! That explains a lot: No baby pictures 11 brothers who all look like me That odd factory in my hometown How perfect I am Speaking of small towns. Ever notice how some of these in our neck of the woods are all quaint and charming and others are just sad and creepy? You know, I really enjoy these TV series, type DVDs. ThereÂs something a bit more gratifying when you have to devote many nights of viewing in order to finish something and see how it all turns out. After I did a bunch of these and then took a break and watched a few regular movies, the movies just seemed lacking or rushed or kind of lame at telling the story they wanted to tell. Maybe all movies need to be 6 hours minimum. I have to do more of these series once I start the DVD thing again. Will do the miniseries. I like my kind.

As a 9 year old kid in Elk City, OK in 1950, I met Tim Holt, Fuzzy Knight & Randolph Scott who were some of my favorite cowboy movie stars that made personal appearances at a local movie theatre. And, during our town's 50th. anniversary in 1951 I met & shook hands with Jess Willard who had been the Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the World, 1915-1919. He lived in my hometown during the early days & helped lay the bricks that paved Broadway St. and are still there and "in use" now in 2006! Moving ahead several years and after I had moved to PA...my wife & I saw Richard M. Nixon as he arrived by helicopter and dined at the then-famous Bookbinder's Restaurant in Philadelphia one evening while we were eating dinner there also. Then later, during the mid-1970's, we saw "The Duke" John Wayne in New York City getting out of his limousine and greeting the gathering crowd at Rockefeller Center. Guess that's about it... LarryD

I watched it. She looked terrible. She mumbled and made no sense. She admits she shouldn't have had the babies, but she's delusional. She claims she won't ask for govt assistance. I think that would be the best thing to do for the babies. I liked that Suzi called her out. She lied over and over. I kept thinking that the richest woman in the world, sitting next to her, could help her and the kids. There's no point in trying to punish her for having 14 kids. That horse has left the barn. Now it's a matter of raising 14 kids and she needs help, badly.

Pickers was on the History Channel again tonight (Thurs) @ 10pm... probably rerun of Monday night's show. I watched with a particular eye towards how they treated the owners of the .... erm... I would call it "junk". I could not see any condescension there, iowagirl. Maybe your personal experience with pickers colors your view in general? I saw the owners really driving a hard bargain on several items. These 2 guys seem quite enthusiastic over their "finds" & they seem like they totally enjoy the interactions.
