I only saw the last 15 minutes. I don't know how Oprah and Suzie could sit there so patiently. I wanted to shake some sense into her. But then I've decided she's playing with a short deck of cards and switched channels.

I made a point of watching today when I saw that it was about Nadia. I don't watch either Oprah or Suze Orman, so I'm impartial there.

I think Suze has Nadia figured out, but Oprah melted and, IMO, seemed to side with Nadia. Suze choose not to reply.

It ended up pretty much like always, she "knows" all her mistakes, she "knows" she's in trouble.....blah blah blah.
I agree, Sue, I think Suze has her figured out, but Nadia never shuts up long enough to listen to any advise. It was really annoying to watch, lol.

Ha, minnie thanks for asking and juellie thanks for answering. I had no idea who she was either. Don't watch Oprah, and damn sure wouldn't watch anything with "Octomom" in it. Those babies should be taken away from her.

Can anyone share what happened with those of us who didn't see it? I heard on the news on the way to work this morning that some guy who owns the biggest porn company in the world paid her mortgage for a month because he's trying to hire her (for "behind" the camera, whatever that means). And he was trying to decide whether he is going to buy her house for her.

She is one stupid woman. Remember a couple Halloweens ago she dressed as a pregnant nun and the babes were dressed as devils???? I doubt those kids are getting the attention young children deserve unless she has at least 14 helpers. Can you even imagine feeding that many kids? The laundry? To say nothing of cleaning the house and trips to the grocery store. I didn't see Oprah, and probably would not have watched anyway.

I agree with ritamay...I am still wondering what the point was/is. She wants "women" to approve of her? Forgive her? I had a hard time watching her turn her back on Suze or Oprah so totally...sometimes when they were talking to her. And it did seem like she became more "hyper" as the hour went on. LISTENING is not her strong suit. It is still all about "me".

I saw a german documentary about her recently. It shows her, first thing in the morning, going into the babies' room, unzipping the cages -no good morning hugs, no diaper changes, no attention at all to those poor babies - and flinging a bottle at each one, zipping the cages back up, and leaving them for hours. And this is what happens when the cameras are rolling! Can you imagine what happens in private? Disgusting!

I found it very painful to watch and kept switching to other channels, so I didn't see it all. That woman is clearly delusional. For some reason I can't even stand to see her talk: all that plastic surgery (remember she was trying to look like Angelina Jolie) has done something so peculiar to her mouth and the way she speaks, it is unsettling. She mumbles and talks off cue. And yes, what is sad about all this is the children. . .did I hear that she's caring for all 14 by herself?

I know that she thought she hit the jackpot when the last kids were born. I know she really thought she could support them on her own, yes she has made some incredibly stupid choices when it came to publicity of her kids. Yes if you tell her it's black she will tell you its white and so on.

With Oprah's OWN..I wouldn't be too shocked to see Octomom on with her own show. Oprah was leaning toward feeling very sorry for all of those kids..Suze told her to get an agent..so who knows what will come next.

Why are the youngest still on bottles? And zip-up covers for the cribs? Clearly she cannot take care of them.

One of the older ones is autistic, she said. The "babies" are now 2 yrs old.

Also, FWIW (nothing really), she did admit that it was a mistake to have had the 8, she should not have gotten impregnated. And, she said she was "addicted" to having babies.

She really isn't capable of taking care of any of those children. Several of the older kids are still in diapers and use pacifiers. The octuplets are picked up by their poor little arms - it's a wonder that their shoulders haven't been dislocated! She jams food into their mouths with a big spoon - at one point, the film showed her taking a handful of food and literally shoving it into one baby's mouth. And worst of all, one of the octuplets has a cleft lip that should have been repaired in his early months of life. She hasn't had it repaired and says that it's her choice not to do it. Goodness knows she's had HER lips done often enough. Those children need to be placed in decent homes. :-(

I too feel sorry for her! Of course she's made some really stupid decisions; I believe she's got a mental illness. Why do people pick on mental illness, but sympathize with physical illness??

Why do so many women seem to criticize and judge other women instead of lending a helping hand or a sympathetic ear?? That is truly something that hurts my heart.

Be concerned about why she has chose not to repair the childs cleft palate. Be concerned about the squalor/dietary needs/individual attention; and be concerned about her mental health. Crib nets, not so much.

Yes, the crib nets are just the tip of the iceberg - there is so much else wrong with the big picture. I cannot imagine why Child Protective Service has not stepped in.
Poor kids - there are so many loving people out there who could give them a great home....

Juellie, I'm don't live anywhere near her either. I remember when the babies were first being released from the hospital, Dr. Phil arranged for nurses (Angels in Waiting, I think?) to come and help her. She promptly threw a fit and fired them all, claiming they were 'out to get her'. And her own mother virtually raised her first six kids, and look at what she has to say about her. Some people just cannot be helped.

I watched it. She looked terrible. She mumbled and made no sense. She admits she shouldn't have had the babies, but she's delusional. She claims she won't ask for govt assistance. I think that would be the best thing to do for the babies. I liked that Suzi called her out. She lied over and over. I kept thinking that the richest woman in the world, sitting next to her, could help her and the kids. There's no point in trying to punish her for having 14 kids. That horse has left the barn. Now it's a matter of raising 14 kids and she needs help, badly.

She's off kilter and needs help but has refused help in the past. What can you do? Since she can't be taken care of then authorities need to step in and place these children. I don't even think she's capable of caring for just one. I feel bad for her but she made her bed and has had multiple opportunities to get help... yet, here she is. Her mouth is something awful.

YES, but did you actually get him up in the morning, out of the crib, and interact with him? If so, then that's not the issue. The issue is them being locked in there all day.
