Granite ?? - Brown Antique, Matrix, Atlantic/Nordic Black...

We have identified our final choices for our granite (schist), and before we choose I'm wondering if anyone would comment with a tip or warning or "beware of this" or "don't do that" or "if you buy that, make sure you do this"...

Brown Antique

We saw one that was much more black than brown, and we loved that... but then we've seen many (slabs or showrooms using it) that are very brown and that doesn't work for us. It is difficult look at slabs (warehouse lighting or in the sun outside) and getting a true view of colors - any tricks like have them rotate the slab to parallel to ground, or bring a flashlight?).

Nordic Brown/Black (Black Atlantic?)

In search for the blacker Brown Antique, we've found one which that seller says "It's Brown Anitique, but it's more blacker so it's closer to a Nordic Black". We like this.

Titanium

I guess this is more of a schist, but the ones we've liked (vs. others we've seen but not liked as much) have much more black to them with lesser quartz/mica/colors.

Others

Maybe they differ in name only, but we have seen Matrix or Cosmic Black...

We will have a couple of islands and a couple of counters (against wall with ceramic/porcelain brick backsplash), and want to do a 6cm chiseled rough edge.

Thanks!
