Too funny, GG! My head did actually come very close to exploding when I saw that it had sold because I was so angry on behalf of the buyer...but I've since thought about it & while I have made mistakes, like getting caught in the heat of the moment & bidding too high on an item, I have never (to my knowledge) purchased a completely different plant because I try to make my purchases with knowledge & if that buyer didn't do that, well, it was their responsibility so...but the seller was still VERY slimy in every way for doing that. I don't know how they sleep at night. Mike, the same thing happened to me about 6 months ago! I sold a few things online, starting about 3 years ago...I'd spent a lot of time staging & taking very professional looking photos. I had to take my listings down for a while to fulfill other responsibilities but fully intended to put them back up some day, and to use those same photos...well, what do you know, someone selling a similiar product found one of my photos in the Google archives and was using it to sell their product. I contacted them & asked them to remove the photo from their listing and, luckily, they did. I think that's why I get so upset when I see things like that. It seems really common. I would be pretty upset if it were someone I had respected & had been cultivating a friendship with...

"his wife cheated on him first, and apparently also has a lover, according to joe." ick. ick ick ick. This is just nasty. Since Joe lies to his wife, why does the girlfriend believe him? & why does the group believe him when he says his wife is "having an affair"? & if she is, why does that justify his behavior? The right thing to do, if there is such a thing as the right thing to do, would be to terminate one relationship before becoming involved in another one, & he isn't doing that. In effect, he's running around on his wife with a girlfriend & running around on the girlfriend with a wife. & your whole circle of friends is enabling him. Nobody, not your hubs & not your momma & certainly not a "friend", has any business putting you on the spot by coercing you to do something or to support or enable something that you believe to be wrong, something that makes you feel guilty or uncomfortable or ashamed of yourself. Tell hubs if he wants to cover for his lying friend, he'll have to do it without your help.... & you might ask him if it's just a "guy thing", if he covers for Joe, Joe will cover for him. ick ick ick. The person I feel sorry for is the wife: I'd bet that she isn't having an affair & that she doesn't know that all her friends are involved in keeping her from finding out about her husband's affair. I know conventional wisdom is not to say anything to the spouse, but in this day & age, the spouse can get more than syphilis or some such: AIDs will kill a person. I wish you the best.

I'm outspoken, what can I say? But just do a search for my posts and you'll see that you're first statement is just not true...I am outspoken on occasion, that's all. And there are only a few people that say ridiculous things (in my eyes), and in those cases I won't hesitate to speak up. You are one of those people that I spoke to in a way you didn't like, so of course you are going to have a problem with me. That's fine, I can take it :) I have no clue what your last paragraph was referring to, because obviously you have some reading difficulty. Are you saying that in my first reply to the post I was saying I don't care about animal abuse? What I was saying is that people don't get what they deserve for abusing animals, which is not the case with human abusers. So basically what you said in your last paragraph is the same thing I stand for. So where's the debate??
