Sorry Tuesday, I didn't see your questions on the original post. The boxes were painted and I had new doors made. My brother in law, who is a carpenter made the doors and painted them for me with the same paint used on the boxes. The interiors were not painted, I left them original since i wasn't using any glass doors. This little remodel has made my life in there so much easier! It's so much more efficent and easy to work in there even tho it's the same space! Life doesn't have to be difficult! : )

Thanks! This is the first time I've ever had such a 'light' colored room and so far so good! I've tried and failed many times w/ white rms. (I find it easier to decorate w/ color) but I've been moving painfully slow on this and reading and looking a lot at the things that you guys post and a few select blogs. I love being able to pick up the box w/ candles and remove it quickly when the littlest one is around and then after bedtime swipe their toys off the coffee table into the basket below and plop the grown-up display back! I'm also looking forward to decorating it for Fall w/ acorns and stuff and evergreens and berries in the Winter. WIP - the euro shams are from RH Outlet - They retailed for $70 and I picked them up for $14.99 each over the Spring. I'm not opposed to a dog bed but at 12'X13', my LR os possibly one of the smallest LR's around! My next additions that I'm saving up for are a seagrass type rug and this sofa (I already have the long white slip cover):

Mlado - Thanks for the offer about viewing the colors but I think you're over on the west coast? I'm way east! Thanks for posting those. Wow the hancock gray doesn't look gray at all. Interesting. Nice color! On my monitor both the Putty and Yorkshire Tan look tanish with a little green which looks good to me. It's amazing to me what lighting can do. Do you have the same brown carpet in the room with the Jamesboro Gold? I really like the color. Looks like a brown/gold. All the golds I paired with my carpet made it look dirty. If you're feeling up to it about the sample board of providence olive go for it. I'm assuming you didn't end up using that color? I do have a big window in my LR but it's north facing. I'm really excited to get the samples! I should probably stick to a game plan and only get a couple. DH is already sick of my sample shopping and we're still in the LR! :) Thanks so much for all your help!
