Mon... retina specialist...Tues...oncologist, Wed..opthamologist

Thursday transthoracic echocardiogram. lol Geez, I hope the dentist doesn't call and demand I come see him tomorrow! lol

The gray blob on my retina hasn't changed. The U of W specialists still have no clue what it is, but I'm not letting them biopsy it if there is no change! lol

Monthly check in with the onco doc. My white blood cells are officially in the NORMAL range! whoo hooo.. neutraphils (sp) too.

My prescription has changed like it does EVERY FREAKING year. Gee, I thought when you got old, it wasn't supposed to change. This year it actually got better! lol

At the onco's I told him my feet and ankles were getting a little swollen in the evening.... a little bit. So he orders the TTE. I said, I know my heart is fine. I just haven't been exercising as much as I used to. I'm sure it's just that I have been sitting on my ass and not drinking enough water. He says, no, I need to check your heart. Sheesh! Doctors! lol So, I had it today at the hospital, and my heart is NORMAL! yep! see, not only do I HAVE a heart, it's NORMAL! I love it when I get the normal diagnosis, so I can prove to DH and DS that I am in fact, NORMAL! lol

So, even though I have started the 2 mile walk with my friend in the mornings a 545am I need to get going and doing my videos again. AND get off this laptop. The laptop is a bad thing! lol

Doesn't it seem like once a doctor's got you they never let go of you? "Come back and see me XX months (or weeks or whatever)"

I hope all your appts. bring good news.

I feel like I have lived in the doctors' offices this year. Carpal tunnel surgery for me and then carpal tunnel surgery and PT for my mom (I go with her). Two cataracts for me and a number of follow ups for that. Optician for glasses and optometrist for a contact lens to fix the vision in one eye that isn't working right for me. The contact lens is a godsend.

Dermatologist for little skin cancers, with one upcoming Mohs surgery plus innumerable follow up visits.

Pre-op trips to the GP before all above surgeries. Two trips to the dentist, no problems thank heavens, just cleaning and recementing a cap.

Once the skin doctor is done with me and I have my mammo, I am declaring myself a "no doctor" zone for a good long while. I've had it.

Your heart is normal???? I would have guessed that it is extremely large and tender. You may be a brat, but we all know you have a great heart! I love hearing about normal test results from you, and hope the doctor visits all bring good reports. Hugs!

Sending some good thoughts your way too Dedtired. You've been busy with the doctors also!

Did you remember to wear your lucky socks? ;-)

No, Vickey, I didn't wear them, I wore sandals, and
contrary to popular belief, not everyone in the Pacific
Northwest wears socks with sandals! ahahahahaha

    thanks everyone!

Oh, the Tech told me that the scan was normal.

What great news Kat. Actually, my eyes got better over the years. I went from not being able to see the big E to 20 -20 in my right eye and 20-30 in my left one. I only wear readers now. Some things improve with age. In my case, not very much but my eyes have sure gotten better! LOL

Kat, every time I open to read one of your posts, I pray that you will be saying things are "normal" and that sure is great to hear today.
