I've been reading self-help, cleaning and organizing blogs and magazines for years. One thought that stood out "You can't organize clutter." The only way to deal with clutter is put things away where they belong and toss as much as possible on a regular basis.

Wow! Thanks for all the replies. Some sites I'd already found and some were great surprises. Please, keep the ideas coming. I found out the feeder was sold "several years ago" by The Red Poppy in Pine City, MN. They're not answering the phone today; I'll try them tomorrow. Surely I can find one. Kat WA...I thougt about finding a metalsmith and showing him the photo; I'm sure it would be easy to duplicate. That would probably, in DH's mind anyway, going a bit far since my orioles are perfectly happy with the modified budgie feeder I made for their jelly and the plastic ring that holds their orange segment. LOL Thanks again, folks. And please let me know if you find more interesting feeder ideas like all of these.

Hmmm, let's check that out. Can you post a photo of your whole house? We could try some mock ups to see how it all looks. Think of this: lots of people paint their doors bright colors to make them pop. Their door color doesn't match anything else, yet people have no qualms about that. So maybe a wood door wouldn't look off with a white garage door. And here in colonial country, I can think of many homes with wood doors and white garages.

The same answer as the one we got in 1998, about our newest rescue, Monroe (who passed away last Christmas at the ripe old age of almost twenty)...a very nice brown dog/couch lol.
