I didn't see an email address for you, so I'm starting a thread.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate all the information you've given on the recent ebook reader and tablet threads. I've been reading on my cell phone for years, and am quite happy doing that, but I am very interested in getting a tablet, and have been interested to see everything you've written. I figured that tablets and ebook readers had to be merging, but hadn't taken the time to read much about it.

Anyway, thanks!

oh how nice! I am more than happy to help and share. Please feel free to ask me what ever you want, I may not know the answer but I sure can help try to find it.

I love all the new technology so keeping up on the latest trends in the tablets is interesting to me, and I do love my PDN android tablet ereader, along with my new lookbook.
I can not afford the more expensive models unfortunately but there are several in a moderate range.

I am usually over on Computer help if you need me, I am on many of the computer help forums online, but I check in at GW a few times a day.

So glad to be of help! It is all about paying it forward.

you don't have to do anything to make it work once you have it added to your browser, to see it in action go to google and do a search for anything, next to each line that comes up in the search you will see the circles green is safe, yellow is cautionary and red is stay away. If you click on a red site wot will block it and you will see the large wot warning on that warning there is a clickable line that will take you to the info about that site and you can see why it has been rated the way it has. many times there are user comments also which I really like. I have had mine a long time I did not get the offer for the bing bar back then, apparently however it sounds as though you can get rid of it. Usually you can find it in add remove and remove bing there also. I see my wot circles on every page I go to including this one up at the top of my browser bar. Since I use firefox I have moved mine around to exactly where I want it. If you click on the circle at any time it gives you the info.

Thanks for the information, Raven. I access at the library, and when the library address shows up, I just click on it and type in "www.yahoo.com" and it takes me to "Yahoo", then I click on the email symbol. The one address is the username that I chose, and ".com", as I got it a long time ago, but the more recent one has my chosen username, then ".ca", as I'm in Canada. I set up a gmail address a long time ago, at my son's suggestion ... but not long after that forgot my password (being rather forgetful, even back then), so it's been sitting unused for years. ole joyful

Oh, no, Phyllis_mn - you've got to try Chrome! Light, fast, sleek ... I was a Firefox user for years, but Chrome made me switch.

ahh Y'all are just too sweet! That is exactly what makes me do what I do! I had some great folks that helped me out early on and it is only right for me to try to do the same in any small way I can.

You do not know how much I appreciate these thank you's!

socks you are doing great and the team there at LzD is the best you can get, I have been a member there for quite some time, it is the place to be to get help with those nasty infections. Glad you are getting it squared away.

Corrine at landzdown is very patient, and I am really nervous about what I am doing. My tummy is in a knot! Not that I lack confidence in landzdown but in myself to do everything correctly. This is not easy to do in a forum setting. Anyway, I'm hanging in there!

Let me add my big thanks too, Raven!! I'm always happy when I don't have to ask hubby or kiddies to help me out with a computer problem. But what they don't know is that you're taking their place! You give wonderfully concise, logical explanations and I sooooo appreciate it!

I answer to almost anything LOL, I am R-C and RC on several forums because people just shortened it and that is fine, my real life nickname is Raven because of my raven black hair that is now silver and black. I have other various names on various other forums, but I have been RavenCajun for a long time, however I have found I am not the only ravencajun out there.

Jasdip actually this is the only non computer related forum I do visit these days, in the past I did participate in a few and I have had several forums that I was admin on, I just don't have the time anymore so I had to cut back.

I really do enjoy doing this so as long as I am able I plan on doing it!

Again thank you all, all of us that volunteer at help forums do it because we enjoy it and it is our way of giving back but it sure is nice to hear thank you it makes it all so very worth it.
