Facebook Group ADMIN Question.

I am an ADMIN on a couple of groups and it appears I've lost the ability ti delete posts...even on my own personal page. I'm not sure if it's a Facebook issue or if it's something in my settings!

Any ideas?

Hmmm... I noticed I can't delete a comment from my page but if I go to the post where I made the comment, I am there given the option to delete it (an X is to the right). So, I can't delete a Happy Birthday comment to my friend from my page; it appears I have to go to her page to do it.

Could that be it?

Thanks Carla...but I don't think that's the problem. As an ADMIN of a group, I've have to be able to delete posts that don't belong in the group and now I can't do that.:(

Search for "The Kitchen Table Gang" on Facebook, then hit "Join" or whatever the button says. Later on, click on "Groups" on the left side of your FB page and you should see the KT group listed there. When you get there, click on "Discussions" and then on "KT names and 'Real' names."

Last week I researched something similar and this came up in one of the search results. I don't think it can be done. I've noticed that you cannot delete a post that you started, either. But if you suspend or remove your account, the comments disappear, which is a drastic solution. Maybe your relatives are finding the updates from your Wall. Click on your profile to see if they're there. If so then you can delete them. Then get in the habit of deleting your comments there immediately after you post something in a group.

Most people use blogs instead of Facebook to communicate information about adeniums, answer questions and so forth. Thailand and India growers tend to use Facebook as a selling tool (list the products/flower types, etc) more than we do in America. The problem with Facebook is its harder to control privacy so people who do not want to share most their Facebook stuff (family images, address, phones, etc) which shows on Facebook tend to shy away from joining a group where the members people have access. When I go to a group I'm an ADMIN for there is a check mark to the right of a post. If I click on that check mark an option comes up to delete the post. This is in an open group I just created this week.
