Comments (143)These guys are scumbags. They shipped me product that wasn't the size they claimed it would be. Terrible customer service all around. I asked if fruit would come from the plants ordered the first year and they said yes. They lied. Also, the prices are not as good as you think because like I said when the stuff arrives its small junk. Almost everything I ordered is now dead because the root systems on them sucked. Only 4 plants survived out of the 14 ordered. Also, we run a large farm with a annual flower plant business so we are not noobs....See MoreReputable blinds/shades sites?
Comments (27)I have been a repeat customer of http://www.selectblinds.com for many years. Once I did have a problem with some blinds that came damaged, but they were really great about taking care of it when I called in to customer service. They even gave me a free $20 credit towards their one of their other stores http://www.bedding.com. I have been happy with my experiences with that company. Comments (4)Try SelectBlinds.com. I just special ordered 2" wood blinds for a very large bedroom window. They were delivered within the week. Right now they have free shipping and 30% off orders. Personally, I would never have faux wood blinds again. I had a bad experience with them. I special ordered them from Lowe's. They were an off-white color and they turned yellow from the sun within two years. I contacted the company that made the blinds and they replaced them for free but who wants to reinstall blinds every other year after they turn yellow. Comments (17)Oakley, I would love to see pics of your shades. I ended up chickening out of the roller shades I wanted for our bedroom (I was afraid of mismeasuring and not being able to return them) and went with curtains, but I am thinking I might take down the curtains and go back to the shades. The roller shades are just so much more practical, IMO, especially if you want to put a fan in the window or leave it cracked for the breeze. I had this inspiration pic saved for a while - I think it came from the smith & noble website. For downstairs, we left most of our windows bare (no privacy needs) but the windows in our breakfast nook get brutal direct sun in the winter and we needed light control to avoid getting blinded. We went with inside mounted woven wood blinds that pull up like roman shades. They work well - when all the way up (the way they stay all summer) they only take maybe 6" of the window. When down, they block the direct glare but still let in light and you can still see out of them for the view. I've been quite happy with them. I thought I had a picture online in one of my photo albums, but can't seem to find one - sorry!...See MoreRelated Professionals
