I tried to put it back together before I took the photos, and the pieces would not fit. Maybe if one put it together in the beginning and then used like some stronger tape or crazy glue, the pieces would not come to the point in which they cannot go back together. But, if you have to struggle with glue and tape, why not just buy the once piece construction to begin with? EM would not look as nice with a big piece of tape, and I am not even sure that would work. One would need to put the tape on before the plastic began to change shape. In the current state I don't think tape would help. Compost has a lot of heat and as it expands with the heat there is pressured placed upon the unit. It might work better as a storage unit for only dead leaves instead as a composter. But, if one is getting serious about composting you need more than one unit. The first bin is for your active composting, as you are starting the process. Then you want to move to a finishing bin in which you let it stay put until it finishes. Afterwards you need a "finished compost" bin to store "ready to go" compost so you have easy access when you need to use it. If you store the finished compost in a tub with a bottom, it won't keep well. It needs to drain off back into the ground. I want something I can remove whole thing by myself without any help. The round bin is easy to pull off completely, as long as it does not have a bottom screen. I don't know what "tool" if any would be used to put the segments together. It's a snap system in which there are little tabs that you line up into little grooves. That is actually one of the better units, I have seen them with three segmented body pieces instead of two. Those segments end up lying around the yard like garden junk, unused. The unneeded bottom screen doesn't come off easily. There are plastic bolts. That would require a screwdriver. I don't know if they will come off easily or break, but they do not look easy and you cannot turn them with your hand. I am against the bottom screen concept. On the plus side the door is working fine. The lid keeps raccoons out. But, you have to learn to turn it correctly or it's hard to get off. The Eco bin has a better designed lid, that is easier to removed, but a worse fitting door.I once asked a friend to drop an apple core in the EM bin and she said she could not get the lid off. It just takes practice. You have to turn it like a child proof pill bottle cap. If you buy a compost bin, you want it to last as long as possible. I hope that the designs of future bins will take these things into consideration.

I have found and ordered Johann Strauss at Regens, still looking for Royal Higness. I have both of these roses at our family vacation home in Rancho Mirage and Royal Higness does very well there so does Johann Strauss, I have posted a pic of the RH. I purchased these 2 at a local nursery in Palm Desert about 7 years ago. They do so well there that I want these 2 here at my permanent home. Below is a pic of my Royal Highness and it does not lack vigor it is a bloom machine for me, I just love the long thornless stems, to the left of RH is the Johann Strauss. My roses do so well there, very healthy, when it is not 118F. The tallest rose right in the middle of the pic with the light pink blooms on it is the Royal Higness look how tall it is, it does not lack vigor at all. This rose does very well for me. The climate here at my permanent home is pretty much the same as in Palm Desert, so it will do well here too. I will look at the nurseries that were mentioned above. Thanks Carrie

Alright- I am close, very close :) So I have one final decision to make. Let's say I order the entire collection (2 nightstands, dresser, and gentleman's chest. no mirror, I think I can find something much more interesting.) The collection comes in 2 colors- molasses and tobacco. The molasses is almost black and the tobacco is more brown. They do go together nicely. Our bed is in molasses (black.) I am toying w/ the idea of getting the other pieces in tobacco (brown.) So the look would be similar to my first pic, with the brown table and black bed. I just think it would be "interesting" to mix it up... and I'm not entirely sure I want all black furniture. Any thoughts? I could also do molasses night stands (to match the bed) and tobacco dresser and chest. What are your thoughts? So vote! #1- keep it all molasses (black) #2- mix it up (how?) :)

LOL ... the post that refuses to die. :-) When I took my glue on nails off after about seven years. My nails were so messed up I thought they would never look normal. Really, really wish I had taken photos though because the difference after using the Nail Magic Botanical Nail Strengthener with Horsetail, is amazing. The trick to getting your nails back in shape ... at least my approach is ... when I wash my hair I really use my nails to shampoo. As soon as I get out of the shower I clean under my nails real good with one side of a pair of tweezers because they are always nearby. No matter how short your nails are, this visually makes them look longer. After they dry, I apply a thin coat of Nail Magic Botanical Nail Strengthener with Horsetail and let it dry, followed by one more thin coat. The most important thing at this point is to coat the nail, the tip and under the tip no matter how short your nails are. This keeps the nail from getting ragged and snagging stuff. As soon as that happens, I start peeling my nails and everything is lost. I clean my nails the same way every morning and by day three, they already look longer. I add another thin coat of polish every 3-4 days concentrating on the tips each time. Hope this helps someone. Jodi-
