Here are some pictures of my pool with Prism Blue PebbleSheen. We absolutely love it! I love the color of the water and do not think it is too dark. When the sun is shining it is the bright blue in the pictures below and does turn a bit darker as the sun sets. At night it is darker than a white plaster pool, but just turn the light on and you can see everything in the pool. Good luck with your decisions, I know it is a confusing time! :)

We choose Tahoe Blue Pebble Tec. Almost went with Tropical Breeze...which I believe Prism Blue is the Sheen equalalent. They are beautiful colors. You cant go wrong with the colors you are considering. Many people think Tec is so rough....rough is not the word to describe it, its not rough with sharp edges....its a smooth texture, but it is textured more so than sheen. If you havent seen a tec pool you really need to before you make your decision. The water colors are same to its sheen equivalent. My kids have never complained, they are 8 & 12. If you like the "pebble" look, its beautiful to see the bigger pieces in the tec versus the sheen. But its not for everyone. I am not knocking the sheen, we considered blue granite and prism blue, but the tec shows the pebbles and it really is pretty. Put your feet in a neighbors pool and you will see, its not rough...just smooth bumpy. You can always ask the rep for references to go see someones pool...touch it, I think you will like it. Krisfl- what is your pool tile? Is it NPT? I really like it. Me and DH cannot agree. We have darkbrown pavers, lighter brown coping and I wanted tile that had blue and brown. He just wants brown tile. Yours is the first one that I have seen that I like.

Hi Cement Pond, the tile is Noble Tile from the Desert Gem collection. I think it is discontinued as I can't find it in their online catalog and I'm not sure of the color. My husband and I picked it because the 1 tile we saw in the showroom seemed like a neutral color that would go well with our cream/beige/charcoal pavers. The day they installed the tile I loved it, it had lots of variations of color including a slight pink and orange hue in addition to the nuetral colors and brown. When they put in the coping, I HATED the tile. It seemed to clash with the coping, but I've gone through a pool build before and figured it would look different with the water in and everything else done. Now that it is done, I love the tile and I'm glad we didn't change it. All the decisions are overwhelming, but in the end it all comes together! :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! We can't decide between Prism and Ocean Blue!!! I keep seeing pictures of Prism blue that look AMAZING but I don't see any pictures with Ocean Blue online? Anyone? crusers - Did you end up going with Ocean Blue?

I'll second that - would love to see more pictures of Ocean Blue out there. We are definitely going to go with the color as we want something darker (without it being black). I've only seen a few pools on this site with that color. We are going to add the "shimmering seashells" to it that the Pebbletech company just came out with. I guess we'll be the guinea pig on this forum for that color with the seashells. I'll post it just as soon as we get our Pebblesheen done - hopefully, by the end of this month.
In the meantime, does ANYONE have any oceanblue pictures?

Maybe a year ago or so, someone on this forum compiled a huge file of the various blue pebble colors...you might try searching for that info.

I posted photos of my pool under construction before and have been derelict in getting some finished photos posted!

Have you considered Blue Granite Pebble Sheen?

natural_one: No, our waterfall was built in place, stone by stone from the natural stone that occurs quite literally in our backyard. Unfortunately, the design is not, not, NOT what we had in mind at all (which is why you haven't seen one like this before) but that's another story only good for raising one's blood pressure.

Considering other issues at the time, we decided to live with this for the time being and not have it removed. Our landscape went in and this year we've added some nice pots on each side of it to soften the effect. Had we known that this was to be the look, we might have added an umbrella sleeve to the top and used it as a poolside table of sorts...in addition to the waterfall. Except for the sleeve, we may add a chair on either side anyway.
