Don't know, Alex and I are going out to see a movie this afternoon and will probably eat dinner out.

We didn't bother to get anything to grill. Main Man wants Chilli Dogs tonight. I better take GasX.

Simple...hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, cole slaw, corn on the cob...and strawberry shortcake made with the hot milk cake.
I just brewed tea for the first pitcher of iced tea of the summer.

I'm having steak. Home alone...so just steak and I have some avacados. I may get something else when I go out later.

Probably steaks, corn on the cob (both on sale) and baked potatoes.

DH is grilling a lemon chicken, and I'll make orzo and a salad. I have some BIG shrimp, might toss a few on skewers and have them too. Kathy

Leftover lasange for lunch. Biscuits and Gravy for dinner - my DD has had a craving for it.

Not a good day for a diet. :-)

It's a cul-de-sac potluck for us this evening. I will bring Mexican layered dip, deviled eggs, hot dogs and a watermelon. I'm gonna just finish it up, then we're heading to the pool.

DH just brought in bbq. Ribs for him and a chopped beef sandwich for me. It's the best thing I've had in a while. In the words of Racheal Ray "Yumm-o."

I'm going to Golden Corral

My family was here on Saturday night and we had steaks and huge shrimp on the grill. They left yesterday afternoon, so it's just me and DH tonight. He's having grilled pork chops; I'm having 4 of those fist-sized shrimp I have left over. Baby red potato salad, corn on the cob, and cole slaw here.

Fresh green beans, squash & onions, corn on the cob w/rosemary, sliced tomatoes and cornbread. DH has been having cravings for veggies for the last few days.

So far leftover chicken in sour cream sauce and mashed potatoes for DH.I haven't eaten anything yet.Don't know what it will be for dinner as I have nothing in the freezer.May have to get pizza or something.Just another normal day around here.I may just go to Dee's and help her eat that shrimp!

Baked pork chops, scalloped potatoes and lima beans. Strawberries with pound cake and ice cream of dessert.

Broiled top sirloin, Caesar salad, sauteed peppers and vidalia onions.

This was supposed to be my dinner yesterday but my neighbour across the street invited me over for a Mimosa when she saw me on the porch reading my book and then I was invited to stay for dinner. 4 X-large Mimosa's later I tottered on back home to bed. LOL

We just got back from our DD's and she had everything and anything you could imagine...She did say, she was cleaning out the frig...Everything on the grill and left overs from a band banquet and lots of goodies for desert...No wonder my tummy hurts...When will I learn!

Whatever DH fixes,since i'm not back on my feet yet.As long as it's filling,i don't care.I know broccolli is involved ,because the smell is wafting back here to my sewing room.I could make a meal off just broccolli alone,love the stuff!!

oh, you really meant food to eat instead of "dust and junk mail" which is what one would usually find on my dining room table... we had the typical various BBQ dishes...ribs, baked beans, pot salad & cole slaw...on TV Trays!

Nothing on my table, but at DS and DIL's their table was full! They had a big party and on the table was:
BBQ brisket and sausage
Spicy yellow squash cooked on the grill
Several dips and chips
beans
American potato salad
German potato salad
a BIG bowl of fresh fruit
peach cobbler w/ice cream

We left a little early because I had book club last night, but DIL send lots of food home with DS#3. So I have enough for dinner tonight!
