Actually it was held in London back in 1851.

It looks like France had an original idea for the French Industrial Exposition of 1844, but the English invited countries around the world to participate in London's World's Fair in 1851.

Not sure what Loyalty Day means now, but several years ago it was a salute to the military. In Gardena CA they use to have the annual Loyalty Day Parade, and had horses, bands, and lots of military stuff. DH was in charge of that for several years and we actually lined up 2 of the parades. It was alot of fun.

I just came on and had not seen the logo. Those Goggle folks are really clever.
