I looked your colors up on my fan deck and to be honest, I'm not really fond of any of them. But that's just me, and I tend to lean towards colors that are less muted. If you want a color in the green family that will photo well and most likely work well with your cabinets, try #6421/Celery, it's less muted than some of the color choices you posted, and I think it will provide a bright and cheerful kitchen which in the end is what you want to portray for sale right? Just my 2 cents, but I hope you post pics when your done so we can see what you ended up choosing! Good luck!

lukkiirish - I do like that strip (with celery) and forgot to mention Ryegrass as being a favorite (Wheatgrass, as well). I wonder if the Celery might be too light since there is a lot of natural light in the room. There is a large bay window in the breakfast area and also another window over the sink and those windows face west. Celery might get washed out with that much light. What do you think of Shagreen or Ryegrass?

Yes, I do want the kitchen to appear bright and cheerful - a inviting place where the family would gather with each other and with friends. There is an island in the kitchen which provides a nice spot for drinks, snacks and conversation (also for my DH to deposit all his papers and magazines on - grrr.)

Maybe it's the muted colors that don't photograph well according to the realtors. I just want to put my finger on why some colors photograph well and others do not and choose accordingly.

I posted this picture of our recent remodel for another green kitchen seeker, but here is again. I used BM Nantucket Gray, which is very similar to Svelte Sage, just a touch more olive. I like color more than neutrals generally, and this is a perfect blend; enough color to be definitely green, but neutral enough to work with lots of other elements. It is hard to capture the exact color, but I've never seen a bad photo of it, just different. The first photo is most accurate on my monitor.

In my former home, I had LA Apple green. Rhoda in B'ham has a favorite green of mine also.....maybe she will pop in with the color. Here is my old kitchen. Bonnie

If you are doing this just for selling I suggest a more neutral color then green. How about going just a little darker then the Latte? That would look nice with oak cabinets.

You can add some color in other ways.
