Oak,there won't be a next time. LOL. Just the one. I thought about going to Toys R Us but decided to ebay instead. I do shop on Amazon but I didn't check them. This was all kind of spur of the moment. I'm at my daughter's as my computer has something wrong with it and went out on me last night. On a weekend of course. I nearly went nuts without it during the midnight hours since I don't sleep and NEED it. I read and watch TV but the computer is my lifeline to distraction from Fibro. I hope guy can get out tomorrow, if I don't shoot myself tonight with nothing to do. And nothing on TV either, figures it would be a bad TV night as well. Arrrggghhh. I may try to come back over here around 9 or so, if ok with not disrupting their evening routine. But just for a short time to check mail and and my Forum stuff. Cross your fingers I get back online tomorrow. hugs, K

OMgosh, PM, I am just sitting here 'giggling!!! Teegan just looks so darn CUTE on that sled w/her new/old friends! Wow, that sweater sure was meant to be for a sleigh ride! Love how you added the animal friends...each w/a story...nice rescue of Shabby Bear! & that you gave him the front seat for the ride, too! ;-) I am esp 'lovin' the bottom rack accessories on your Baker's Rack ...& it looks like snowballs hit your place, too! TFS & happy to see Teegan...I dug Dollbaby's red/furry outfit from the cedar chest today (my tap dancing duds!) Jeanne S.

Well, anything that can't be used after the baby can roll over may have a very short lifespan. My daughter rolled over at 4 weeks, 4 days. One of my strategies was just to do without a bunch of baby gear. I never had a changing table of any kind. My kids have been the kind to flop and flail from an early age so the floor seemed safer to me anyway. I never had an exersaucer or a jumper. The bouncy and the swing were both gone by the year mark. We never used a pack n play at our house and I borrowed one on the rare occasion I needed it for overnights elsewhere. As to strollers, I highly recommend the stroller forum at the Baby Bargains Board and/or Strollerqueen's reviews. For true running, it is hard to beat a fixed wheel Bob. But you absolutely should not run with a baby before six months to a year--think shaken baby syndrome. You also cannot use a Bob, even walking, with a newborn because they don't recline completely flat. You can use an infant carseat adapter, but it is not good to leave a baby in an infant seat for long stretches, both because of flat spot concerns and because the infant seats restrict breathing. Bobs are also heavy, don't fold very small and can't do parent facing (again except when using an infant car seat). So there are trade offs. This is a great example of function totally trumping any aesthetic concerns when it comes to baby gear. Now course, the stroller doesn't have to live in the house for most people as it can be stored in the garage or car. As far as cleaning,I would look for reviews or inspect an item in person to ascertain that rather than relying on product promotional materials. There are some YouTube videos for baby gear--baby gizmo I think?

Yes he did get alot of gifts....there was a lot of family and friends there! Out of all those gifts there was just 2 duplicates...not bad! That jacket is really soft Steph....it got windy in the afternoon and in the shade it was cold. Thank goodness everyone brought lightweight jackets for their kids. It was a great day though.....I think the park is the only way to go for a party with lots of kids!
