Off to the pool for exercise! And you?

9 am and it's a beautiful sunny day and 72 already.

Headed for water aerobics then a potluck luncheon.

Let's all exercise today!

Probably won't take the time today, although it sounds like a great idea.
I've been running up and down the stairs, cleaning house, watered the horses, laundry, going to work at the green house in a few mins (love that job), want to plant the rest of my pots and mow this afternoon if I can stand the wind and possibly steam vac the basement carpet if I find some time. Got to run to the store sometime too. I'd like to put in a few tummy crunches, see if I have a muscle in there still.:) That will be the exercise today.
It's windy, humid and going to be in the high 80's today.
I need to find my googles so I can mow!

I got up earlier than usual and rode my stationary bike for a while. I haven't done that in a while and now my legs feel like rubber! I hope to make that a regular part of my mornings from now on.

The garage windows face front and it's a very pretty part of the house, and the side where it could be put through the wall is totally visible as part of our front yard, so we can't have a window or wall AC. Not sure that's even allowed in this association. Homebound, your idea is brilliant, thank you so much, that never occurred to us. We will either do that, or spring for the big $4000 unit that gldnfan endorsed. Gldnfan thank you for that info. Also, I wondered about those rolly ACs in the situation. Thanks all for your ideas, now we know we will build a real wall with a real door, and we have our two selections of AC to choose from. Will get back and let you know what we do and how it goes. Probably sooner than I think since DH wants to try to build the wall ourselves.

The elliptical just got delivered. I grew up where the only piece of technology I needed was this doodad to tighten roller skates. This elliptical on the other hand gets plugged in and can be programmed, lol. Silver Sneakers. I like that.

Supposed to cut the grass today, but doubt if I'll get to it. It's not growing anymore, thank goodness, so I'm safe for another week. I've been walking all day every day at work, so I take my days off to relax, sort of, although I am doing housework, and that's enough exercise for one day. I do have one tip, though. While you're sitting in your recliner watching t.v., do leg lifts and bicycles (don't have to stick your feet up in the air) and throw in a few scissors. You'll feel that tush tightening quicker than you would imagine, and the tummy flattening too. I started out doing about 20, and ended up doing 500, and it helped me a lot. Of course, I'm not doing it now, but I'm going to start back. I just don't watch too much t.v. anymore.

I do enjoy running, but every time I do some yoga I just love it. In my older years, I'm leaning more and more toward things like Pilates and yoga to keep me and my joints and muscles moving. I had a great yoga instructor several years ago. She spoiled me. I just need to find another and I know they are out there I just need to seek it. My Pilates studio & instructor - Wow! She's the best and could probably lead me to the yoga instructor.

Our aquatic center opens May 31. I have purchased my season pass. It is hot here so I will wait until evening to mow the lawn and plant my rhubarb.

Got up early and went walking with the dawgs while it was nice and cool.. The aroma of wild roses and honeysuckle was so amazing.. I hated to come back to the house.. coulda walked for miles.... and miles... but settled for just a couple...

I have 3 loads of laundry on the line, and working on my floors.. so much fur. wow.. shedding like the dickens they are...

It felt good to be back on a walking schedule again...

Walked for an hour this morning along the canal. I've been doing this now daily (Mon-Fri) for two weeks now. I love it!
So does the dog. We've met so many nice people along the way, some with dogs that Jaggs likes too. And now that the weather is a little better it's really a nice walk! Get to see the ducks and geese and enjoy the fresh air. It gives me a good reason to get up early each day and enjoy the morning.

Played 18 holes of golf today. Was going to take Georgy for a walk but I'm kind of tired right now.

Beautiful day today! I did some gardening, then went to Curves and worked out. I feel good!
