You've got to stick around, paco, because I can't *wait* to see the progression on your pool. We wanted to do something similar but it was too much for our pool builder to chew. Our drop off is only 3 feet but I wanted it sort of above ground like yours. Instead we'll have a retaining wall. Oh well.

And for some odd reason it pleases me to see your pool guys all dressed in white shirts, hardhats and jeans. Hee! Tres professional.

I'll post more pics as we go along. We were going to have a negative edge, but it would have taken up too much of the pool. As it is, the pool is only 11 feet wide. We're just going to have stone coping on the edge.

The top of the pool will be about 20 feet off the ground on the high side. There is about a 35 degree slope at that part of the lot, so every foot wider we made the pool, the foundation would have to go down about a foot.

I guarantee I won't be standing on the far edge to clean the pool.
