Hmmm, that's odd. Yesterday I logged into two of my five old AOL accounts for the first time in many, many months to clean up the account since I no longer use it. I tried several times to log on with my work computer but was told by AOL I could not because of 'suspicious activity'. I changed to my personal computer and finally got in and changed my password on one of the accounts. I went through hundreds of old emails and deleted most and got out. I'd delete the entire AOL account but my kids have been using two of the emails since they were in middle school and I don't want to throw a wrench into their world.

I think what I'll do since I no longer use three of the accounts is delete my email address lists so they can't email anything out.

I got one too Jodi. It looks like a simple phishing link but of course I didn't click on it.

I got one from another KT'er the other day, didn't click the link and deleted.

Jodi, good luck with that. One of my yahoo accounts is mailing emails out... even though I deleted ALL addresses.

Oh man, that's not good news Moni.

When I went in earlier to go delete all of my address books, once again I got a message telling me suspicious activity was happening and I could not log on so I had to call AOL. Spent a half hour on the phone changing my security questions and then all my passwords. Once back in, I deleted all my addresses. What a hassle for accounts I never use.

I'm curious Liz and WC, which account did the email come from?

Sorry to anyone that may have received one of these emails from me. I haven't used my AOL accounts in many years. When I called AOL today they thanked me for being a loyal member for 17 years! Yow! Had no idea it had been so long.
