Anyone here have pandora-like bracelets?

I'm not terribly into buying into a trend, but I do like the concept of a pandora/troll-esque bracelet.

I am thinking about buying the bracelet and one bead for both my mom and mom-in-law for Mother's Day. I wouldn't mind having one for myself, either!

I know you can buy beads that are compatible with the snake/chain bracelets that are much, much cheaper, which is just fine with me. Amazon and Overstock has some cute beads.

I thought I could buy the bracelet and bead for each and add to the bracelet on special occasions (birthday's, Christmas, etc).

Your opinions? Do you have a bracelet like this? Also, I have teeny, tiny wrists. I wonder if I can find a bracelet that would fit me, even after beads are added.

Funny you should ask, as I was also going to post this same question a week or so ago! I just received Pandora bracelet for my b'day from daughter. Like them a lot...always have - started with the silver bracelet/gold clasp and next day I went out and bought the silver/gold letters "K" and "S" for my two children. Have started a list for whole family, as now their b'day, xmas, etc gifts are all taken care of for ME anyway! I will buy myself couple more this week I hope.

I have the Chamilia versions of this type of "charm" bracelet. Love them. I also have rather small wrists...

I believe I bought the smallest solid cuff size--these are somewhat adjustable as to shape. I did not however buy the smallest snake chain; I think I went up a half inch or so from what I would normally wear (7 inch add-a-bead instead of 6.5 plain chain, for instance). You do have to allow that the more beads you put on the bracelet, the smaller it gets.

I stopped collecting a few years ago; when I started I was only paying $15 per name-brand silver bead...

I've tried making my own oil with alcohol and the essential oils, but never could get the scent just right and they seemed to clog up my wicks.. so I stick with mixing the La Tee Da oils with the 91% alcohol. Mustangs - do you have a favorite floral scent in the La Dee Da oils that isn't too flowery? I might want to try something different next time I order.

If a yurt costs as much as a solid wall bunkie I'd choose the bunkie. Several years ago my DH built me a garden house that is 12'x16' with a sleeping loft. We did it that year the Cdn. gov't gave rebates for home improvements to stimulate the economy so could claim expenses and got some money back. Even so it cost several thousand dollars. We did find some of the building materials and all the windows at yard sales which saved. DH built it all himself except for shingling the steep roof. I only use it to store garden decor, patio chairs and table, etc. but when the Grands are older they'll likely sleep and play in it and I'll hang curtains and decorate it. I'd like to have an outdoor privy nearby but that's another project. I live on a large acreage and at the time we had farm status so could build any size outbuildings and didn't need a building permit. Without farm status the size of outbuildings are limited and I believe one needs a building permit in this province.

Nope I still wear my old fashioned charm bracelet often. I'm not into trendy jewlery.

I want one bad....Doesn't have to be the Pandora one lookalike is fine by me! I think that is a great gift...Might do that for my mom and mil! Good Idea! Stacy

for the record, go to Amazon.com and search for "pandora like bracelet" and "pandora beads". They don't sell pandora or troll, but they sell universal beads and bracelets that will fit everything. The descriptions that you will get with those searches will pull the things that are like pandora but actually aren't (which is a good thing--and a cheaper thing!) DH ended up getting me a bracelet and some beads with our kids initials and a claddagh. Much cheaper than the 'real' thing, but I don't need the expensive stuff! I got a bracelet for my MIL and a necklace for my mom from amazon...$12 bucks each. They're silver plated---but who really knows/cares? :)
