Thanks for the reminder. One person I know who runs a food bank says they don't want old expired canned food or weird things. One year she did a Thanksgiving Food Drive and people gave expired food, one person even gave a can of Sauerkraut, now who eats that for Thanksgiving? Don't just clean out your pantry, buy something new. I give cans of tuna and a jar of peanut butter-all are protein-heavy and have long shelf lives.
