Thanks Canna for matching us up. Now I'll have to drive clear to Texas or somewhere just to find something Jo doesn't have!!! I think we need to know a couple of months in advance who we'll have so we can check out their lists and see what we can find. lol Canna, thanks for bringing us along on your trip today. I love to be the fly on the wall and I feel as though I was watching everything. You tell it good girl! I'm still laughing, read it aloud to DH and he was laughing too. Jo, you need to hush about Joanne's. If I go there I'd be divorced because I'd have to buy fabric AND garden goodies. I can't even afford to feed one hobby/habit at a time much less two. Pretty daffs Marea! I want more varieties every year. Jo, I'm waiting on those pics so hurry the bulbs along. Where's Anita? Haven't seen her lately! I went outside yesterday and poked around and found that I'm going to have lots more iris blooms than I first thought! Thank you Anita!!! I really didn't expect them to bloom this year so I'm tickled pink! Sharon, everybody needs a pink flamingo! lol It was always a big joke in my hometown and when my boss there built a huge new home on the lake one of his friends bought him some for house warming. Really funny! That makes me think of his female friend he was raised with who got married and sent out invitations to the wedding. Two years later she got a divorce, took the extra wedding invitations to the printer and had them print a divorce party announcement on the reverse side! Wow!!! I received two cards last week and three more yesterday. Rbrady sent Oriental Poppy Mix and Delphinium Fantasia Mix. Highalttransplant sent Celosia Cockscomb Red Mix, Gaillardia 'Goblin', Yellow Marguerite,and Oriental Poppy Brilliant Red. Dimples sent Montauk Daisy, Lady's Mantle, and Carrot Danvers Half Long. shropshire_lad sent Hollyhock, Milkweed, Aster Tiger Paws Mix, and Auntie's Rose. Colcol sent Russian Sage, Common Orange Poppy, Shirley Poppy Mixed Colors, California Poppy Orange, Zinnia Lilliput Mix, Red Corn Poppy, and some adorable seed packets. Thank you all so much!!! Donna, Thanks for posting your celtic project. It looks tedious, but I've wanted to try it. Think I'll put it on my Wallhanging Challenge list. When I get to it, I'll probably be picking your brain for any tips. Great job on the sweater and getting the BD blocks together. Definitely an excellent month for you! Linda, You've been busy, too! Machine quilting takes a lot of time, but you're fortunate to have a frame and know how to use it! Good job! I completed a few more things on my list but got a call from my SIL. She and a friend were cleaning out the sewing supplies of what a family had left of a neighbor who had passed away. Not much cotton, but there were 3 big cheater quilts and 2 GFG quilts that just need to be trimmed up. She wasn't a quilter, so there wasn't a lot of that, but nevertheless, the back of the van got filled, so now I have to go through it to see what I'm going to keep of it. Thank you all very, very much! I'm 51 today, and loving it. Woody's friend came over and brought me irises and a card and then he hinted he wanted to know if I was 43 or something like that. He went down to 41! I like him more today than I ever have! lol

I had fun sewing today, and tonight Woody is preparing a shrimp scampi over spaghetti squash dinner, I can't wait. And he went to a bakery and brought home a cream puff and a tart for us. Hooboy, the cream puff was HUGE. We ate it because we didn't want it to get soggy. Yeah, that's why we ate it! lol It was really good.
