Aisle width/clearance around an island

We are in the process of building new home. Electrician needs to install wiring for pendants over the island but our cabinets are not installed yet, drywall going up tomorrow.
Sorry the layout sketch is not clear. That big box I added on the right side is supposed to be out breakfast nook.

I know most KDs recommend 42" aisles around island. I would like to go less on 2 sides and more on 2 sides since the layout of our kichen will call for traffic to flow from breakfast nook to right side of island to sink/dishwasher area. I would like to keep the traffic flow out of my cooking/prep zone on left side nearest range. I am suggesting 43" on right side, 40" from sink to island and 40" from oven/range to island. Is this too narrow? I don't want to be taking a huge step around from sink to island and I will not have prep sink in island. But I also want to make sure there is enough space to open the oven doors with extra room to spare. Please help!
