Wire fence for backyard of 1920 Bungalow
Comments (117)As mentioned, we've been working hard to get this back for customers, and we're getting close to stocking it soon in the single loop. One upgrade will be to use a thicker wire than the old double loop fencing produced state side the last 150 years. Some of the pictures posted in this forum show the irregular weaving, which probably resulted from using thin 11-gauge wire on the old fence. For folks with an eye on quality, we think the 8 gauge wire single loop fencing makes a better pattern and elegant design possibilities for a premium bungalow style. We'll be shipping from the central United States. Call us at 866.514.2733 about your project....See MoreAnyone watch Fixer Upper on HGTV?
Comments (458)kroer2016 I'm thinking that the furniture and accessories is available for purchase by the homeowners, but it really is just for staging. I agree about the budget. It always ends up that they misquote because they conveniently find something major wrong. I would never agree to such a purchase without a home inspection and knowing ALL the details possible up front. ******************************************************** Yes, the finished hse is staged for the show and HO's can purchase the items if they chose. If Jo commissions something from a vendor like Clint, that is a gift from FU Curious, other than a piece of furniture, does anybody know what the HO's appearing on the show get financially? On HH Reno, they get $25,000 towards the reno. I'll bet dollars to donuts the home has been inspected and any issues that come up are reality show drama. As an aside - do you notice how often they say 'You know'?...See MoreFixer Upper - Farmhouse of the Gaines family
Comments (55)"Startling lack of reading material, though I guess that is not surprising when her use of books is solely decorative." We don't have many books but I read a TON. My reading is either library books, which are in nightstand drawers or baskets in the living room, or I read on a Kindle or iPad. My husband doesn't read at home because he reads so much for work and he also works 60+ hours a week. Sadly, he just doesn't get pleasure out of reading at home these days. I hope no one would come into our home and assume something negative about us because they don't see loads of books. "I didn't know until reading this thread, that they have no TV--it seems to me that to say, "We're too busy, smart, morally superior, etc., to watch TV, but support us by watching our TV show," is the height of hypocrisy. Sorry if that's too negative." The TV thing came up during an interview (in BHG or Country Living Magazine or similar), when they were asked if their family watched their own show. They said they don't watch their own show at home because they don't have a TV. They didn't go into their reasons for not having one. I don't think not having a TV makes them morally superior, even if they do have a TV show. Because they have a show, they must now start watching TV?? That seems sort of silly, doesn't it? I don't know them, and I don't currently watch their show, although I saw the first season. I think it's surprising and a little sad that this group continues to bash them week after week. Hasn't it pretty much all been said?...See MoreFixer upper show Magnolia Farms very sad.

Every thing on the local news here has said at their farm home. Now there farm house is part of the business because they do see clients there as we see on the show. But the silos store is not at the farm and don't think there's animals there. . I don't understand the mindset of a person who can just walk up to those adorable little goats and cold blooded shoot them. They had no idea if it would be the little children who found them. Luckily it wasn't....See MoreLulu Brooks
