Anyone have experience with Allstate Roadside Assistance?

At this point I'm thinking some sort of option could be worthwhile. AAA is just too expensive when you have a reasonably reliable vehicle it doesn't make sense. But a flat tire or something is possible with any vehicle. I like that it's free to join and you pay when you use it. Better yet is they flat-rate certain things.

I had the roadside assistance available through the manufacturer but that was good for 5 years/60,000 miles. I've thought that having a cell was good for most issues, especially in town but out of town trying to find a reputable tow place or something could be an issue.

I guess it's no loss to join it and see what happens. Just an extra tool in the arsenal along with the cell. No way I can justify paying AAA or something.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it.
