Yep, I use it for all the patriotic holidays, it's one of my favorite photos. Those military figures were made and displayed by a neighbor, who is a retired Marine Captain. His son is a retired Sailor. Sorry about the size. I still have trouble with that.

In Maine we visited the Hope Elephants. A group there has taken in two retired circus elephants that are 40+ years old, and they provide a heated barn and a few acres for them to live on, and use them as a means to educate people about elephants in general and about the ongoing crisis elephants are facing in Africa. One of the things my wife's family was doing over the Christmas to New Year's gathering in Maine, was getting the house ready to be sold, since their father has decided he won't be able to go there in future summers. They were cleaning, decluttering, and staging for showing. A big part of this included determining what should be done with the art, furniture and other furnishings. Looks like the babies are good size so I think they must have lost 2 babies. That's unfortunate. We have a yellow crested night heron that built a nest way in the top of one of the giant pine trees in our front yard. We have been watching and the babies are getting very big for the nest. I think we will see them learning to fly soon.
